About the Program
The Royal Caribbean Group internship program is designed to cultivate future leaders by providing meaningful work experiences within various departments in the organization. Interns will work alongside industry professionals to develop their skills and understanding of the cruise and travel industry. About the Department
RCG Health Manila supports the organization’s workforce by overseeing occupational health services, medical records management, employee wellness initiatives, and health‑related compliance. The team plays a critical role in ensuring that employee medical documentation, clinical evaluations, and wellness programs are handled accurately, confidentially, and in alignment with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements. By partnering closely with Human Resources, leadership, and external healthcare providers, RCG Health Manila helps maintain a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment across the organization.
Key responsibilities and areas of focus include:
- Occupational Health & Medical Records Management: Maintaining accurate, secure, and organized employee medical records, including physical exams, consultations, fitness‑to‑work documentation, and other confidential health records.
- Clinic & Administrative Operations Support: Supporting day‑to‑day clinic operations, records tracking, digitization efforts, and process improvements to ensure efficient and compliant healthcare administration.
- Wellness Program Support: Assisting with the coordination of employee wellness initiatives, on‑site health activities, screenings, and wellness events.
- Data Accuracy, Confidentiality & Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to medical privacy standards, data accuracy, secure handling protocols, and local occupational health regulations.
- Process Improvement & Quality Control: Supporting ongoing efforts to improve filing systems, documentation standards, and digital record organization to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health / Nursing, Marketing / Communications / PR, Business Administration or related field of study.
• Previous experience or coursework in related areas preferred
