Analyst, Product Health
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Product Analyst to join our team. The IT Product Analyst will play a key role in the development and enhancement of our IT products, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that our solutions meet business requirements and deliver value to our users.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Product Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing products to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize product requirements.
- Market Research: Perform market and competitive analysis to inform product development and positioning.
- User Stories: Develop and maintain detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
- Roadmap Planning: Assist in the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps and release plans.
- Solution Design: Work with the development team to design technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Testing and Validation: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure products meet the specified requirements and are ready for release.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear understanding and alignment on product goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve product offerings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.
- At least 4 years of experience in IT.

Systems Engineers focus on the integration and management of complex systems, ensuring that all components work together smoothly. This is comparable to a Product Analyst who supports the technical aspects of product development and ensures system-level functionality.
INTERNAL/ EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
- Weekly vendor engagement to support product health and roadmap.
- Daily interactions with the RCG Product Team and RCG shipboard IT and Safety teams.
