About the role

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Senior CRM Producer is to oversee the building and deployment of all email communication and direct mail efforts to both trade and direct audiences for EMEA markets. The Senior CRM Producer will work closely with the Global CRM team and other teams across the brand and market to ensure alignment and support of all commercial initiatives by leveraging the strategies and content developed by North America (NA) and cater for specific EMEA needs.

This role is responsible for supporting the development of the email calendar and audiences to ensure delivery on commercial KPIs. Ensuring the execution and extension of automated and triggered email programs is a key responsibility, as well as bringing forward new ideas and technology to ensure continuous improvement. The Senior CRM Producer will work closely with the NA CRM team to schedule, test, and provide analytical performance and reporting for EMEA markets. Technical, analytical, and commitment to email best practices are a must to ensure commercial KPI’s drive all CRM execution.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages content and creation of emails for UK/I and EMEA This can include working with the NA creative team to leverage globally produced content, as well creating some market specific content locally. This can involve copywriting and designing in addition to HTML development.  
  • Develops scheduling, sending and technical build and testing of all Email
  • Work closely with the CRM Manager and NA Sr CRM Manager to implement the annual Email communication plan in line with global commercial and marketing objectives, ensuring that the campaign, content, and cadence drives maximum incremental results
  • Responsible for HTML technical development, building and coding of automated Salesforce journeys and dynamic tactical journeys
  • Works day-to-day with the data analytics team, briefing campaigns, segmentation, testing and dynamic requirements for email campaigns
  • Manages all stages of consumer email marketing
  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders from Commercial, Brand and Product teams to build all emails
  • Supports Email testing strategy and proactively leverages learnings to contribute new ways of working that optimize email performance
  • Supports all Lead Gen efforts
  • Responsibly for all QA and spam scoring, mobile first execution and rendering across browsers
  • Responsible for weekly and monthly email reporting and identifying key insights and trends to recommend optimizations based on those insights
  • Monitors competitive and industry activity that help inform new strategies

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience building, testing and sending via SalesForce (or similar email platform / automation tool)  
  • Solid technical skills and expertise with HTML (CSS an advantage)
  • Must be able to code mobile responsive emails (knowledge of JavaScript and other languages advantageous but not required)
  • Experience of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Dreamweaver and Photoshop
  • Experience of using Litmus/Email on Acid (or similar) for render testing and troubleshooting creative deployment issues
  • Understanding of testing techniques and platforms; specifically building requirements for list segmentation, workflows and triggered events
  • Good understanding of dynamic coding and conditional statements
  • Demonstrated ease, facility, and interest in working with data, including standard email engagement metrics and analytics tools
  • Use of Excel as a reporting tool

 

FINANCIAL/QUANTITIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing analytical data on email performance
  • Raise PO’s as required by the CRM Manager

INTERNAL/ EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

  • Integration and reporting to NA CRM team, internal stakeholders across the UK, Ireland, EMEA
  • External Marketing agencies as required on an adhoc basis – Certain, Imaginary Friends, Salesforce, Live Clicker etc.
