In this role, you will focus on understanding how vessel condition and underwater performance impact fuel efficiency. You will work with data & digital tools to generate the right analysis and insights to support maintenance decisions and improve the overall performance of our ships.
Core accountabilities
- Analyze vessel performance data to understand hull, propeller and machinery efficiency (Engines, Boilers, HVAC etc.) and identify opportunities to improve fuel performance
- Support root-cause analysis of performance degradation and contribute to practical recommendations on cleaning, maintenance, and operational actions
- Review inspection data (e.g., dive reports, photos, cleaning reports) and operational inputs to validate performance trends and refine recommendations
- Maintain structured insights on coating conditions, cleaning outcomes, and inspection findings to support fleet-wide benchmarking and support evaluation of coating performance, biofouling, and cleaning activities to improve efficiency and protect asset condition.
- Support drydocks and maintenance planning by translating performance insights into data-driven recommendations on coating strategies, surface preparation, and timing
- Apply standard guidelines to assess coating and maintenance options, highlighting trade-offs, risks, and deviations
- Support preparation of inputs for decision-making forums by consolidating performance data, historical insights, and relevant technical information
- Collaborate with technical teams and service providers to ensure performance insights are reflected in maintenance and operational practices
- Support tracking and evaluation of performance improvements and energy savings from maintenance actions and technologies
Digital & Analytics
