We are looking for a passionate Trade Support Executive who will support our Sales Teams and our Trade Partners by providing them with sales tools, administrative support and training support to help drive the Celebrity Cruises business forward across the EMEA region. The individual will be responsible for working with Senior Management and Cruising Power HQ team to set the strategy, vision roadmap and implementation of Cruising Power 2.0 into the business at market level along with being responsible in owning all the post-launch enhancements and maintenance. Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.

 

Sales Team and Trade Partner Support

Being part of this critical team within the sales organisation, this role will support all Strategic Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Business Development Managers, across EMEA, as well as providing best in class service to our trade partners.

 

This position plays a vital role in developing increased engagement across all accounts and must maintain excellent knowledge of our brand and internal processes, initiate new and proactive ideas to support the partners’ business and create efficiencies to free up time for the Sales Teams to focus on driving sales.

 

  • Develop and deliver regular bespoke tactical offers for key accounts to support product focus, working with Revenue and Sales to ensure most appropriate offers are shown.

 

  • Deliver the support required for ad hoc queries and requests whilst proactively coming up with new ways to assist the Account Managers and their accounts.

 

  • Responsible for regularly updating key partner intranets and internal systems to ensure latest campaigns and offers are shown to maximise Celebrity’s exposure within the trade partner business. Perform checks on trade partner websites to monitor support for campaigns.

 

  • Support with Account Manager business social pages when required to ensure messages and comments are responded to and to assist with scheduling of agreed posts and offers.

 

  • Responsible for taking ownership of any trade escalation queries from the Account Managers, ensuring any issues are dealt with in a professional and timely manner, seen through to resolution and the trade partner/Account Manager kept regularly updated.

 

  • Provide personalised support for new starters within our key accounts, supporting with everyday queries, registrations, and queries for our online trade portal Celebrity Central and loyalty program Celebrity Rewards.

 

  • Being point of contact for key trade partners in Sales Team absence, to answer and filter queries and requests, forwarding relevant and urgent queries to appropriate stakeholders within the business.

 

  • Building relationships with our key accounts through regular telephone and email contact as well as support at trade partner meetings, ship visits, conferences and visiting our trade partners when required.

 

  • Maintain excellent brand and product knowledge to be able to deliver a knowledgeable and genuine service to our trade partners and take responsibility for on-going self-development.

 

  • Work closely with the Trade Marketing team to ensure consistent feedback and queries from agents are addressed in future communications.

 

Training Support

  • Providing support to our Training Manager, including but not limited to attending and supporting training events, co-training, recording and/or being part of podcasts, hosting/supporting webinars, administrative support, reporting, and budgeting.

 

Cruising Power

Build

  • Work with the Global Cruising Power teams to understand customer expectations, requirements and business values for platform features.
  • Ensure all relevant translation is in build and checked with local teams at market level.
  • Evaluate best practice and most cost-effective translation process once in BAU at market level.
  • Develop a roadmap (at market level), objectives and milestones with involvement from all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) and alignment with the product technology roadmap.
  • Coordinate communications between the Platform Team and stakeholders in EMEA Celebrity.
  • Identify and manage cross team dependencies to prevent impediments and foster collaboration.
  • To work with existing b2b platforms that will remain, example SSO.
  • To create financial efficiencies by utilising Cruising Power as the main b2b Platform.
  • Lead implementation of all Cruising Power Content at market level.

 

Launch Plans

  • Create and maintain timing plan to support launch of CP tool in each EMEA Market.
  • Work with Trade Marketing teams to produce in Market Launch collateral & comms plans.
  • Evaluate and action training requirements for all EMEA Markets.

 

Implementation & Business as Usual (BAU)

  • Work with Trade Marketing teams to create monthly content calendar for CP uploads.
  • Lead implementation of all Cruising Power Content at market level once in BAU as supplied by trade marketing teams, including all copy, banners and other trade collateral items.
  • Work with translation tool for upload of all standard copy and messaging as required.
  • Monitor and report usage by market level drilling into agency information where relevant.
  • Evaluate and present any future development requirements or builds to CP.
  • Manage assigned budget to support platform.
  • Maintain SSO to market platforms and eventually move to Cruising power.

 

 

Work Environment:

The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, as well as domestic, international, and shipboard travel.  Ability to travel an estimated 60% of the time.
