Analyst, Financial

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for conducting and coordinating various analyses as determined by Management in support of operations decision making. This position prepares evaluations, reports and analyses of financial plans and operating forecast as well as reviews financial data for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide analytical support to enhance savings and efficiencies for an expanding Logistics department.
  • Create and maintain budget forecasts and variance analyses for brands/departments under Logistics finance.
  • Validate and allocate vendor invoices to ensure FCPA compliance.
  • Facilitate meetings with suppliers to review invoices and correct errors in invoicing.
  • Oversee coordinators and provide support for challenges they encounter.
  • Supports special projects by providing financial controls and analysis.

Financial Responsibilities

 

Review invoices to ensure all billing meets FCPA and SOX control requirements.


Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university and/or one to three years related financial and business analysis experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel. 
  • Detail oriented and organizational skills required.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Advanced analytical skills preferred.

Physical Demands:

The employee is occasionally required to walk to the dock, ascend and descend the vessel. This position may regularly travel domestically or internationally. Visual requirements include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
