Position summary
- Vacancy: Summer Intern; Engineer, Energy Efficiency & Sustainability
- Duration: Fixed-term for summer 2026 (e.g. May – August/September 2026)
- Place: RCG Turku site office (on-site working only, no remote working)
General requirements
- Master's degree student in energy technology (or equivalent)
- At least a third-year student
- Motivation to do and learn
Work duties
- Conducting techno-economic feasibility studies for decarbonizing future cruise ships
- Data-analytics for identifying new technological development initiatives
- Creating and developing dynamic energy/emissions models and simulations for cruise ships (digital twin)
- Participating development collaboration with technology vendors
- Supporting and learning the inspections of a newbuild cruise ship under construction
