POSITION SUMMARY:
The objective of Portfolio Strategy and Partnerships function is to implement RCG’s portfolio strategy by overseeing portfolio’s contracts throughout their lifecycle in collaboration with legal, and fostering and managing partnerships with shipyards and other key stakeholders. This position is responsible for managing, conducting, and coordinating portfolio management related initiatives and tasks.
This position prepares and reviews various reports related to portfolio management and business intelligence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serving as a member of the Portfolio Leadership Team
• As part of the Team, developing jointly strategic department goals
• Function as an in-house process and team collaboration drive e.g. with corporate strategy, legal, finance, and brand
• Support in preparing, negotiating and executing contracts
• Contract lifecycle management in collaboration with legal including e.g. establishing work plans and milestones for tracking amendments, contract compliance
• Supporting Portfolio Risk Management including monitoring yard health and related mitigations
• Acts as the liaison for collecting and sharing requested information between parties and at required intervals
• Communicating with stakeholders to ensure they are up to speed with contract lifecycle milestones and deliverables
• Developing Business Intelligence reports including e.g. industry landscape, shipyard slots, and forward looking understanding on cost level development
• Planning, tracking and reporting related to portfolio management
• Recommend policies and best practices to support portfolio management

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting in Newbuild Contract Management tasks (several billions dollar program)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master of Science degree in relevant field and over 5 years relevant experience.
Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills required.
Advance Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project strongly preferred.
Knowledge of strategy related processes strongly preferred.
Networking and partnership strategy experience and skills.
Knowledge of shipbuilding contracting processes and principles.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office work needs with capabilities and willingness to travel including vessels and shipyard visits.
