Analyst, Sr. Finance
Temporary position (until 30th June 2026) with potential of extension
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Analyst to support our project teams by managing change orders and tracking project costs. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, cost control, and timely reporting across complex, multi-phase projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project cost
- Review, validate, and track all project change orders as well as other capital expenditure eg. owners work and special projects, in collaboration with project managers and teams
- Maintain a centralized change order log and ensure alignment with project budgets and forecasts.
- Support negotiations by developing prioritized design-to-cost change order proposals
Reporting
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making and risk management
- Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly financial results and estimates
- Monitor and analyze project expenditures against budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and cash flow projections.
- Ensure accurate allocation of costs to appropriate cost codes and work packages.
- Identify forecasted and realized cost overruns and recommend corrective actions
- Development of Process, Reporting and Tools
- Presents and communicates results of analyses at financial meetings
- Performs special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with project managers, procurement, and accounting teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project finance, cost control, or related roles.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and project management tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Energetic, proactive leader in driving the process to achieve results.

- Excellent business intelligence and a strategic mind set to generate creative ideas to improve cost performance.
- Strong benchmarking, trend analysis and analytical skills to identify efficiencies and cost saving opportunities.
- Excel in Excel (model development with statistical and financial functions), Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Effective communication skills (written & Verbal).
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Ability to share information and work in a standardized environment.
- Understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities with confidence and composure.
