The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Market Sales on the Northeast Sales Team reporting to the Director, Market Sales.

 

** Position based in Northern New England with closest metropolitan city: Boston**

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for profitable revenue generation from assigned retail travel agency accounts producing generally below $15M in current cumulative annual revenue (for total territory) with Celebrity Cruises to meet or exceed corporate growth goals.  
  • Builds and maintains relationships with decision-makers at current individual accounts within territory with a significant focus on affluent zips in assigned target market  
  • Works with Director of Sales and Regional team to analyze and develop opportunities within territory.  
  • Develop territory account plans and marketing/promotional strategies for assigned account base. 
  • Responsible for complete knowledge of all Celebrity Cruises products, services, and brand representation.  
  • Analyzes sales data in order to present monthly and quarterly business reviews with select accounts across territory. 
  • Works with Key Account Manager handling HQ roll-up accounts to analyze and develop opportunities and targeted initiatives.   
  • Gathers and communicates reporting on customer business profile (ROI, cost of sale, yield, retention, automation). 
  • Develops brand champions ensuring customers are kept up to date with the latest information on itineraries, pricing and product enhancements  
  • Market Sales Manager will perform other duties as required.  This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.  Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.  
  • Maintaining relationship with only office managers for their smaller accounts.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven outside sales experience, travel industry preferred.    
  • Must be able to travel and live in assigned territory (Northeast United States. Position based in Northern New England with closest metropolitan city: Boston).   
  • Established success and proven proficiency in the core competencies required.    
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or combination of education and experience. 
  • Must be able to work weekends.
