Revenue Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:    

As a Revenue Analyst, you will manage inventory, local and international group business, pricing, and ticket revenue for the Singapore product. By leveraging data sets and B.I. dashboards, you will help us understand booking trends and demand for our products as well as provide recommendations for pricing. Although the role is by nature analytical, our working environment is collaborative, and will require frequent coordination with multiple stakeholders - from people on your own team, to folks in other divisions including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Commercial Planning,  

 

Duties Included (but not limited to):    

  • Manage, oversee, and validate group business through frequent data pulls to monitor group status, berthing requirements, payment schedules and balances
  • Collaborate with the operations, guest service and sales teams along with other stakeholders to
  • Conduct ongoing demand analysis, booking channel, and market performance reviews to provide frequent updates to key stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Optimize yield through data driven inventory management and develop pricing and promotional strategies
  • Act as the definitive source of information on established booking policies for various internal departments
  • Collaborate with the operations, guest services, sales teams along with additional stakeholders to manage oversells, downgrades and other close in sailing management issues that directly affect guest experience and overall ticket revenue for individual and group bookings
  • Provide visibility on sailing revenue and booking status to upper management regularly
  • May be assigned special projects or situations requiring extensive research and the resolution processes. QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:   

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar
  • 1-3 years work or internship experience, preferably in business, pricing, and/or financial analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (ex. Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and other MS Office applications
  • Understanding of revenue management and/or basic economic concepts
  • Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data independently, and make data-driven decisions and/or recommendations
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines 
  • Flexibility to work outside normal hours
