ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Sales Manager West, Mid and South-East Germany is a field-based role responsible for managing and developing trade accounts in Germany. The position requires being on the road four days per week, following a specific call plan and visiting trade accounts. The responsible territory for this position may be extended to other EU countries based on company needs and the language skills of the successful applicant. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue and passenger targets.
- Manage relationships with trade partners, consortia, and national accounts.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Negotiate marketing activities, budgets, and commercial terms with key accounts.
- Deliver engaging product and training presentations to trade partners.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry events as required.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and ROI.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates of agent databases and CRM systems.
- Support tactical initiatives, product launches, and last-minute inventory sales.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience in travel or luxury sectors; cruise experience preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to identify and qualify new leads and drive sales growth.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- High level of understanding of luxury travel and retail luxury brands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Clean driving license and willingness to travel extensively within Germany (and potentially other EU countries).
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Additional languages (e.g., Spanish) are an advantage.~
