Royal Caribbean Group’s Inside Sales Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Account Executive, Sales reporting to the Sr Manager, Inside Sales.

 

This position will be working from Florida. 

 

Position Summary:

Silversea Cruises, a world leader in luxury classic and expedition cruising, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive to join our Sales team. The Account Executive will support Area Sales Directors and manage relationships with travel agencies to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury travel, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales. The Account Executive will work within a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and Sales Leadership on strategic territory approach and goal setting/achievement.  The candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude and driven mindset, always striving to exceed expectations and contribute to the team’s success.   

This position is responsible for providing Area Sales Directors (and their respective assigned Travel Partners and clients) support in all selling activities. The goal is to ensure satisfaction and operational excellence, which in turn leads to increasing revenue performance.  

The Sales Account Executive supports Area Sales Directors responsible for working with a varied account base to assist departments in meeting or exceeding corporate growth goals via service support, telephone and electronic sales. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports selling activities including: (1) servicing any issues related to selling efforts raised by Travel Partners, and Sales Directors, (2) generates selling opportunities, (3) assists all Sales Directors and Travel Partners with strategic Sales & Marketing efforts.
  • Reviews and acts on sales calls and inquiries for the various sales functions/fields, and Travel Partners. Leverages these interactions to create selling opportunities. Calls Travel Partners on behalf of the Sales Director to assist in closing business, educate Travel Partners on the brand products, promotions and selling tools; introduce and/or creates brand awareness and identifies/qualifies selling opportunities.
  • Uses sound and independent business judgment in the use of their individual Empowerment and/or Marketing dollars allocated to them.
  • Partners up with all Area Sales Directors in the coordination and execution of corporate team events, trade related events such as ship tours, FAM training functions, and Seminars at Sea.
  • Works within Sales to ensure accessibility and understanding of corporate and brand policies, procedures and key selling attributes.
  • Networks and interacts with all relevant internal departments to act on requests and complete service resolution tasks.
  • Conduct sales presentations and training seminars to promote the brand, specific ships, programs, and destinations.
  • Attend sales events and trade shows as needed in various territories (travel required)
  • Performs other duties as required. 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the travel, cruise, or hospitality sectors. An associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Capable of leveraging advanced sales and business knowledge to make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships across multiple departments, supporting our travel partners and Area Sales Directors effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset with a willingness to share ideas, experiences, and best practices.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Proficient negotiation skills with a results-oriented approach.
  • Skilled in utilizing various communication channels to collaborate effectively, drive results, and develop customer advocates.
  • Demonstrates the highest level of personal integrity and professionalism.
  • Responsible for personal and team performance, with a proactive approach to achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Confident, credible, and able to demonstrate leadership qualities.
  • Adaptable to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Salesforce or CRM systems is required.
