Specialist, Demand Gen Quality Assurance
Position Review:
- An Email Marketing QA Specialist ensures the quality and flawless execution of email campaigns before they are sent to recipients. This involves reviewing emails for errors, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and design specifications, and verifying that they render correctly across different email clients and devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Reviews:
- Conduct thorough QA reviews of marketing and before deployment, ensuring they align with design specs, brand guidelines, and approved content.
- Rendering and Responsiveness:
- Verify that emails render correctly across various email clients (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, iOS Mail) and devices, checking for layout issues, and image display using Litmus.
- Content and Link Validation:
- Confirm that email copy is accurate, free of errors, and that all links are functioning correctly and directing to the intended destination.
- Proofread all copy content
- Cross reference with copy deck, EM mock up creative, and link matrix
- Confirm T&Cs apply to the sale
- Collaboration and Issue Resolution:
- Work closely with developers and campaign owners to address any identified issues and ensure timely resolution via Asana.
- Documentation and Process Improvement:
- Create and maintain QA checklists, processes, and documentation, and contribute to the development of best practices for email quality assurance.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms and tools is a plus but is not required.
- Understanding responsive email design and rendering across different clients is a plus but is not required.
