Reporting Analyst

Position Summary / Job Purpose:

The Analyst, Crew Readiness Operations reports directly to the Employee Services and Admin Manager (Operations).  The primary responsibility is to ensure that the highest level of reports standards timeliness and accuracy are observed. This role will identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets based on the transactions of Crew Readiness Team. This resource will also be in charge in handling projects and implement process improvements / efficiencies within the team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting Analyst

  • Acquire data from primary and secondary sources and maintain databases and data systems
  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Develop, modify, maintain and support custom reports for both ad-hoc and ongoing needs
  • Interpret data and analyze results
  • Develop and maintain data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality
  • Assist with the review, consolidation and reduction of data discrepancies
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Responsible to work with IT and BA to create a dashboard that will help Crew Readiness team to perform their jobs well

Analyst supporting Projects and Process Optimization

  • Identify opportunities within the processes and implement process improvements and efficiencies that may benefit the Crew Readiness team
  • Develop, modify and maintain the Guides, SOPs and Materials
  • Ensure that communications being used by the team are updated and aligned with the appropriate branding
  • Providing Technical Trainings to Crew Readiness Ops Team as needed
  • Assist with the review and consolidation of reports
  • Responsible to create needed materials and presentations required by the business
  • Ensures that processes in other departments are aligned with the current guidelines being followed by the team
  • Work closely with IT and BA to create a functional / business requirements for any enhancement requests
