Analyst, Software iGBS Offshor

Position Summary

We are looking for passionate and hardworking Test Analyst. Provide testing and technical expertise to wide variety of software applications. To meet the requirements and to ensure the overall quality of software solutions. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical skills, initiative, excellent communication skills and excited to learn. Candidates must be flexible to work varying hours to support global markets and be capable of adapting to an ever-changing environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge in quality assurance, testing and software development processes and methodologies
• Participates in reviewing the business requirements to ensure the testing quality of the enhancements or tickets
• Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plan and test cases
• Drive the adoption of best practices in test case writing, bug tracking, test data creation and reporting workflows.
• Perform manual and automation testing activities
• Provide support in resolving issues that emerge during testing in test or production
• Attend project team meetings and provide QA oral and written status updates
• Evaluate and recommend alternative procedures for continuous improvement
• Strong critical thinking skills required
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Knowledgeable in agile methodologies and SDLC
• Experience Manual Testing (test design, creation, execution, analysis, and documentation)
• Extensive experience in API testing using Postman or Insomnia
• Experience in Automation testing using Katalon, SOAPUI and ReadyAPI
• Experience in SQL for database testing and analysis
• Experience in GIT, Bitbucket and GitHub
• Experience in JIRA for project management
• A creative problem solver, able to think outside the box.
• Independent worker that takes initiative to get the job done.
• Must have strong analytical skills, highly detailed and process-oriented
• Strong desire to learn new systems and processes
• Flexible approach and adaptable to change
• Must have ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet business goals

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years experience in Quality Assurance Industry
• Degree or equivalent experience in area of Computer Science
