JOB SUMMARY:
Based in Sydney, the Trade Marketing Manager develops B2B marketing strategies and communications for Celebrity Cruises. Collaborating with the Commercial Marketing Director and the Sales team, the role will plan and execute sales objectives through campaigns and tactics with trade partners and trade media, delivering a strong ROI. This will include events, webinars, agent portal communications, trade media, eDMs, and the development of sales aids, assets and collateral to support. The role will assist trade partners to develop effective B2C campaigns and achieve commercial goals.
Maintaining a keen interest in the marketplace, the Trade Marketing Manager will actively track and report on competitor trade marketing activity and identify new opportunities to activate the Celebrity brand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds and executes go-to market calendar and strategies to deliver commercial sales objectives, including all outward communication to the trade database.
- Develop content calendar and advertising strategies for the brand’s B2B trade media investments, including management and bookings.
- Foster cross departmental collaboration included but not limited to Sales, Marketing & PR, Commercial, Operations and Revenue. In addition, build effective relationships with key MIA stakeholders and colleagues.
- Define and align seasonal marketing calendar incorporating all relevant aspects of product, retail, and brand activity.
- Create and launch trade webinars focused on marketing education to keep Celebrity Cruises top of mind and to drive revenue.
- Assist with the strategy and measure the effectiveness of account coop and activation plans, ensuring execution with excellence (responsible for approval to brand guidelines) and supported with quantifiable product lift, report to leadership at regular cadence.
- Assists sales team to create support materials and presentations beyond corporate marketing materials. Ideate and actively produce sales aids (Brand Flyers, Toolkits, Tactical Selling Aids)
- Manage asset creation (internal or outsourced) for promotional activity and brand updates.
- Manage and implement improvements with the Salesforce integration strategy and skills/training in Adobe Content Management System
- Continuously evaluate the sales organisation’s ways of working and provide recommendations to leadership for streamlining and refinement.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of B2B or B2C marketing and/or communications experience.
- Travel & Tourism marketing experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in working with a multi-location team & ideally within a global brand or business.
- Tertiary qualification in marketing and/or tourism desirable.
