Snr Analyst, Automation Analytics
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Analyst, Automation & Analytics plays a critical role in driving the development and embedding of analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions within the local market. As the primary dedicated resource for automation and advanced analytics, this role operates with a high degree of independence and accountability, leading the identification, development, and execution of solutions that improve business performance and operational efficiency.
This position sits at the intersection of data, technology, and commercial decision-making. Working closely with sales, marketing and senior local and international stakeholders, the role is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity through automation and AI.
A strong sense of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for exploring emerging technologies is essential. The role requires someone who is comfortable operating in an evolving environment, can self-direct priorities, and is motivated by delivering measurable business impact.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Automation & AI Delivery
- Support the end-to-end identification, prioritisation, development, and deployment of automation and AI use cases across the business
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce manual processes, improve efficiency, and enhance scalability through automation and AI-driven solutions
- Design, build, and implement solutions using tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI Builder, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs
- Apply prompt engineering techniques and leverage generative AI tools (e.g. Copilot) to enhance reporting, analysis, and day-to-day workflows
- Continuously assess emerging AI and automation tools, translating new capabilities into practical, high-value applications for the business
- Take ownership of solution rollout, stakeholder adoption, and ongoing performance tracking to ensure tangible impact is delivered
Analytics & Business Insight
- Develop and maintain high-quality reporting and dashboards that provide clear visibility of performance, key drivers, and commercial outcomes across the business
- Analyse complex data sets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities across revenue performance, channel mix, and customer behaviour
- Translate analytical outputs into clear, commercially relevant insights and recommendations that support decision-making at all levels
- Support forecasting, scenario modelling, and performance tracking to inform strategic and tactical planning
- Continuously improve data structures, reporting outputs, and analytical approaches to enhance the quality and usability of insights
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
- Act as the primary point of contact within the local market for analytics, automation, and AI-related initiatives
- Partner closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing and International teams to embed data-driven thinking into day-to-day decision-making
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business challenges, shape problem statements, and translate requirements into scalable analytical and automation solutions
- Support the adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working through clear communication, training, and ongoing support
- Influence stakeholders to embrace automation and AI-driven approaches, ensuring solutions are effectively embedded and utilized
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing reporting, processes, and decision workflows, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain a strong awareness of industry trends and advancements in analytics, automation, and AI, bringing forward new ideas and opportunities for the business
- Contribute to the broader automation and AI roadmap, ensuring local initiatives are aligned with global strategy while addressing market-specific needs
- Act as a key connector between local teams and international BI/Analytics functions, supporting knowledge sharing, consistency, and scalability of solutions
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation and learning within the analytics and automation space
General
- Perform additional duties as required to support commercial planning.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience using data and analytics to inform business decision-making in a commercial environment
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with complex, large-scale data sets
- Experience developing dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform technologies, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps
- Practical exposure to AI tools (e.g. Copilot, AI Builder, or other generative AI platforms) and an understanding of how they can be applied in a business context
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Databricks) and/or programming languages such as Python is advantageous
- Understanding of how automation and AI can drive efficiency, scalability, and enhanced decision intelligence within a commercial business
