We’re looking for an outstanding national Key Account Manager, based in Sydney to promote Royal Caribbean International across Helloworld Travel Group (HLO) – a critical partner and friend of ours.

Helloworld Travel Group, made up of 2,400 agents and brokers (as of 31 December 2023)  across Australia and New Zealand incorporates Helloworld Branded, Helloworld Associate, Magellan, My Travel Group, Express Travel Group and a number of other members. The Helloworld Network is a partner with high strategic importance to Royal Caribbean International.

You will plan and implement cooperative marketing and advertising campaigns, sales plans, promotions, events and training to achieve the objectives of Royal Caribbean and HLO.

If you have a background in marketing, sales or account management, you are going to love bringing two of the most exciting brands in travel together.

 

 Some of your duties include: 

  • Analyse reports and interpret data to identify opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Develop plans and deliver strategic objectives with each aspect of the HLO network.
  • Effectively manage marketing and event budgets to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers and agents.
  • Drive engagement among the network by hosting and attending events, seminars, expos and conferences.
  • The role is based in the Royal Caribbean International’s office located in Sydney. You will visit Key Stakeholders offsite and interstate while also travelling regularly for other business.

 

QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

  • 5+ years of sales, marketing, BD or account management experience.  
  • A relationship management guru who can interpret data to find and drive commercial outcomes.
  • History of success tailoring bespoke strategies to deliver mutually agreed objectives.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, tourism or related field preferred but not essential.
  • Creative and curious and love to travel.
  • Naturally ambitious to want the best for Royal Caribbean and its partners.
  • Embrace a fast-paced working environment. 
  • Use insight in the design and delivery of account plans.
