The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a fixed-term HR Business Partner (12 Month Maternity Cover) reporting to the Head of HR, APAC.
Position Summary
The HR Business Partner Australia and New Zealand (AUNZ) serves as the HR Business Partner for all brands and shared service employees located in ANZ.
The HR Business Partner ANZ is an HR professional and partners with local business leaders to develop and implement human resource programs that are in line with the organizational mission and vision. The HR Business Partner must have extensive knowledge in all aspects of HR Management and employment law within their geographical area they must be a subject matter expert in AUS employment practice.
Duties and Responsibilities
Works closely with the Head of HR, APAC and global Centers of Excellence teams to develop and implement organizational strategies that optimize the performance and overall effectiveness of human resources and enhance the employee experience within ANZ.
Partners with regional leaders to ensure HR practices align with business goals.
Provides day-to-day advice on all HR related issues to both employees and business leaders.
Partners with leaders within their business units to analyze employee engagement data and create improvement plans.
Implements initiatives and may serve as the lead on special regional or brand-specific projects.
Works with the International HR Team and Centre of Excellence teams (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development) to achieve goals, and key performance indicators.
Partners with the shoreside Learning and Organizational Development team to provide guidance on career paths, organizational learning, and employee development.
Researches and implements best practices in recruitment and takes ownership of this aspect for the ANZ offices. Partners with senior management cross the ANZ business regarding talent planning and development in short, mid and long-term plans
Uses HR information systems to access and analyze data for reporting purposes based on business unit needs and uses relevant data to recommend solutions.
Partners closely with the Accounting team to ensure payroll is effectively managed
Effectively line manages the HR Coordinator
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
2-4 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role.
Specific regional knowledge in regard to employment law in AUNZ
Have experience in human resources management or consulting in a dynamic highly complex global environment.
Must be able to show a successful track record of strategic work with business partners at all levels.
