The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Entertainment Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Specialist, Entertainment Production Operations reporting to the Manager, Entertainment Production Operations.
Position Summary:
The Specialist, Entertainment Production Operations will be responsible for various support tasks and services within the Entertainment Production Operations team. This role will facilitate the vendor registration and set up process, partner with purchasing and procurement teams to create and process POs in AMOS and will support updating of budget tracking documents and reconciliation efforts with the Manager, Entertainment Production Operations. The Specialist, Entertainment Production Operations will also support the Lead, Entertainment Production Operations with creating and maintaining visual and written presentations use for delivering updates and status briefs for active and upcoming capital related projects. This role will work in partnership with the Technical Operations team to support shipping and logistics for projects and operational requirements, as needed and support project management of special projects, as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains written and visual presentations documenting the progression and status of various areas of the production for active and upcoming entertainment Capital/DEAR projects.
- Supports the Lead, Entertainment Production Operations with creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for newly developed shows and entertainment experiences.
- Builds and develops a comprehensive SOP library surrounding production operations and the delivery/launch of capital related projects.
- Supports ongoing maintenance, updates, and record keeping of SOPs, Shipboard Quality Management (SQM) documentation, Licensing documentation and file sharing.
- Updates and maintains official fleetwide changeover grids pertaining to theatrical productions and produced entertainment experiences.
- Supports onboard installation of new shows, experiences and projects, as assigned.
- Creates and follows-up on Extra Crew Cabin Requests (ECCR)/i95 manifesting of crew members, vendors, and shoreside teams supporting shipboard installations of capital projects including new builds, show and experience developments and remounts.
- Supports (ECCR) and travel administrative needs for ongoing cast and produced entertainment experiences, as needed.
- Supports travel and accommodation needs for vendors and producers under contract for new show and experience capital projects. Books travel and accommodations for vendors and producers travelling onsite for project support.
- Facilitates vendor registration process for new vendors, suppliers, and producers identified to support various entertainment production projects. Works with Purchasing, Procurement and Legal teams to support onboarding of new suppliers.
- In conjunction with the Entertainment Technical Operations team, supports shipping and logistics needs for the Entertainment Production Operations team, as needed.
- Works with Purchasing teams to create and process POs in AMOS for orders and services relating to Entertainment Production Operations.
- Receives and codes invoices to appropriate budgets as advised by the Manager, Entertainment Production Operations.
- Updates budget tracking documents and supports reconciliation efforts with the Manager, Entertainment Production Operations, as needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Performing Arts / Theatre / Arts Administration or related field, or minimum two (2) years’ experience in production and/or project management.
- Background in the Performing Arts with experience and/or knowledge of Performance.
- Shipboard experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production management, as relevant to the cruise industry.
- Knowledge of policies and practices regarding work ethics and contract policy.
- Must have good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate and interact with internal and external personnel at all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Software: working knowledge of personal computers within a Windows environment with email, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and related printers and equipment.
- Must have good problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and last-minute emergencies in a calm and organized manner.
- Able to work outside of business hours and weekends, when required. Able to travel if required. Travel Requirements: Position travels approximately 40% of the time on ships. This individual will work a minimum of 60% of time in the North Miami Production Studio and Port of Miami, as needed.
Financial/Quantitative Responsibilities:
- Tracks costs associated with ongoing and new projects/experiences/shows both shoreside and shipboard.
- Will support the Manager, Entertainment Production Operations with regular tracking of invoices and expenses related to studio and shipboard operations.
- Liaises with finance team on budget tracking, reporting, audits and presentations, as needed.
