The Royal Caribbean Group’s Private Destinations has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Onboarding Specialist, Private Destinations reporting to the Sr. Director CAM ops Onboarding.
The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida

Position Summary:
The Private Destinations Onboarding Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the onboarding process for positions supporting Private Destinations. This includes ensuring crew members are properly cleared, documented, and prepared to support destination operations in alignment with business needs, compliance requirements, and operational timelines.
High-level competencies in communication, planning, stakeholder management, data analysis, and time management are essential given the fast-paced and highly visible nature of Private Destination operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve onboarding risks before they impact operational readiness.
This is a highly analytical role and would suit someone with a strong data and reporting background. The role includes monitoring onboarding status, identifying compliance gaps, preparing readiness updates, and providing recurring reports to stakeholders to support timely hiring, scheduling, and operational deployment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides timely, customer-focused service to crew members and internal customers supporting Private Destination operations.
- Ensures each crew member receives the appropriate level of support and guidance to create an efficient and positive onboarding experience.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory, local, international, destination-specific, and company policies to support the safety, readiness, and well-being of crew members.
- Liaises with various teams, including Talent Attraction, Scheduling, Visa, Private Destination Operations, and Authorized Referral Sources, when appropriate, to support timely hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and deployment.
- Tracks onboarding progress and identifies risks that may impact start dates, scheduling needs, destination readiness, or operational coverage.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in onboarding, HR operations, compliance, data analysis, workforce readiness, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, business administration, human resources, operations, or related field preferred.
- Experience working within compliance-driven or regulated processes.
- Experience supporting high-volume onboarding, workforce readiness, scheduling coordination, or operational staffing preferred.
- Natural problem-solver with the ability to identify potential issues before they impact operational readiness.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
