ABOUT THE ROLE
The Direct Sales Senior Analyst is a pivotal role responsible for delivering in-depth analysis, supporting strategic planning, and optimizing operational activities across the direct sales channels. Being part of the Commercial Planning department, the position provides critical insights to enable data-driven decision-making, fosters cross-departmental collaboration, and ensures the achievement of the channel revenue targets.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join a strategic function within the company’s growth engine, working at the intersection of data, marketing, revenue and consumer sales operations. It provides exposure to high-impact projects and the chance to influence decision-making at a senior and executive level with impact on the company P&L, shaping the future of the organization’s direct sales success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Support the development and maintenance of the annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans, including target setting, direct sales modelling and KPIs forecasting, campaign calendar planning, risk assessment and cross-departmental alignment.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports covering KPIs such as sales volume, conversion rates, lead performance, and channel productivity. Collect and define business requirements for Power BI dashboards development to ensure reporting automation.
- Data Analysis & Business Insights: Conduct in-depth analysis on direct sales-related topics, such as campaign results, customer segmentation, lead scoring and propensity models, service level, etc. Support A/B testing, impact assessments, and model evolution initiatives.
- Campaign Management: Support the planning, target list generation, and monitoring of outbound campaigns, aligning with the organization capacity plan. Negotiate commercial opportunities, develop customer base segmentation, analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities, and support the launch of new tools and features.
- Operational Support & Process Optimization: Collaborate across teams (eCommerce, Contact Center, Marketing, Stakeholders) to support process improvements, model implementations, and governance setups.
- Machine Learning Models Maintenance & Development: Oversee the performance evaluation and continuous improvement of predictive models (e.g., Next Best Action, Propensity models). Coordinate with Consumer Sales, eCommerce, BI, IT, Data engineering and AI & Analytics teams for new technologies, use cases ideation, data sources integration and A/B testing.
- Incentives & Budgeting Support: Assist in forecasting and budgeting for targets, incentives, and campaign planning aligned with sales plans and business goals. Support HC planning activities for Consumer Sales across multiple locations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between Commercial Planning, Marketing, eCommerce, Contact Center, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis & Deep Dives: Respond to special requests for detailed analysis, including portfolio reallocations, performance gaps, and strategic initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Education:
- Degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or related fields.
Years of experience:
- 1–3 years' experience in sales, marketing, eCommerce or finance, gained in consulting firms or the travel/hospitality industry.
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in sales analytics, data modeling, or business intelligence, preferably within a sales or marketing environment.
- Strong proficiency with Power BI, Excel, and other analytics tools.
- Experience with predictive modeling, A/B testing, and model lifecycle management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively across departments.
- Knowledge of CRM, campaign management, and marketing automation tools is a plus.
- Fluent English, any additional European language is a plus
