KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for assisting the Lead Destination Experiences in implementing and managing Silversea products ensuring proper experience seletions per vessels and port of call are available to guests when they book their voyage while meeting performance and cost criteria within a specified budget and timetable. A coordinator Destination Experiences handles the inventories and the database of our Destination Experiences for an average of 500 ports. This position will also look after guests’ bookings, design and sell concierge arrangements direct to guests and/or travel agents and assist and cooperate with the Managers Destination Experience on a daily basis ensuring to deliver to guests the best experience. His/her contribution is also need to various projects required by the company.
Tour database and Inventory
* Setting up very precisely all the details provided by Tour Operators for each experience.
* Setting up very precisely inventory and departure time for each ship/port of call.
Concierge Arrangement
* Develop a high quality customized and sell concierge arrangements according to guests needs and requests for their upcoming voyage: pre-cruise, ashore in ports of call or post cruise.
Booking handling
* Monitoring the inventory of destination experiences and overland bookings per voyage and per ship and act accordingly to analyze the need to increase the capacities based on demand.
* Send preliminary figures per ship once per month to the tour operators.
* Handling any communication with guests when changes needs to be communicated.
* Responsible for handling all communication with internal departments and travel agents for overland and shore excursions operation.
Archiving
* Archiving all reports received by on board team.
EDUCATION
3 year degree or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the tourism industry.
Shipboard/Hospitability Industry experience preferred.
FINANCIAL/QUANTITIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to achieve annual target of the concierge arrangements.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working in the office from Monday to Thursday, on Friday all employees can work remotely from home.
