Royal Caribbean Group’s IT Delivery Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Senior Program Manager reporting to the Senior Director, Technology Delivery.
The position is onsite and based in Miramar, Florida.

Position Summary
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the management and delivery of large-scale projects and programs within Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Enterprise Technology (GET) department. This role acts as the orchestrator across technology, operations, finance, and vendors, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business priorities. The Senior Program Manager drives clarity, enforces execution discipline, actively manages risk, and ensures results at scale, supporting strategic information delivery and process consistency across multiple tracks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitates cross-team planning and estimation of GET Security related projects.
- Leads integrated program planning, estimation, and sequencing across cross-functional delivery teams.
- Drives scope clarity, tradeoff decisions, and actively manages scope, timeline, and delivery risk.
- Translates strategy into executable plans with measurable outcomes.
- Facilitates enterprise-level prioritization and sequencing of initiatives, escalating trade-offs and risks to executive leadership.
- Owns end-to-end delivery of large, complex, multi-track programs, partnering closely with technology, product, and business teams.
- Establishes and leads program governance, including steering committees and executive reviews, ensuring clear decision-making and accountability.
- Defines and enforces program structure, delivery standards, execution cadence, and reporting across all workstreams.
- Tracks and reports overall program health, including delivery status, risks, issues, financials, and capacity, using RCG’s PPM tools.
- Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates program risks; ensures issues are escalated early and resolved with clear action plans.
- Owns change management across programs, ensuring scope changes are reviewed, approved, documented, and communicated.
- Designs, builds, and sustains high-performing, cross-functional delivery teams for flawless execution of enterprise programs.
- Owns end-to-end financial management for assigned programs, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and benefits tracking.
- Supports regulatory and framework alignment (e.g., NIST, PCI DSS, ISO 27001).
- Builds strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including Security, Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Business leaders, and third-party vendors.
- Delivers concise, outcome-focused communication to senior leaders and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and no surprises.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, information technology, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of Information Technology experience.
- 10+ years of experience managing small teams and projects.
- Project / Program Management certifications (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, etc.) preferred.
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management experience (excellent written & verbal skills required).
- Proven ability to influence without authority and lead effectively.
- Strong governance, financial, and delivery discipline.
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure, including networks and platforms.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.
- Deep & broad experience with IT environments and related technology applications.
- Expert with Microsoft Office suite.
- Expertise with PPM and delivery tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira, MS Project).
- Familiarity with information security frameworks such as NIST, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong working relationships.
- Proactive, self-starter able to ramp-up quickly.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet organizational goals.
- Owns program outcomes and results; takes ownership of tasks, decisions, and their outcomes.
- Leads, inspires, and empowers delivery teams by setting clear expectations and fostering accountability.
