Royal Caribbean Group’s Information Technology Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Product Manager, IT role reporting to the Senior Product Manager, IT.

 

 

Position Summary

As a Product Manager in the IT Hotel Finance and Services team, you will lead a high-performing team of approx. 10 Product Owners and Analysts to deliver innovative and impactful digital solutions across the Royal Caribbean Group (RCG) brand portfolio—including 60+ vessels, river cruises, and private destinations. This role is pivotal in shaping the technology landscape for critical operational domains such as Immigration, Security, Safety, Crew HR, Finance, and Guest Services.

You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and ensure seamless execution of features that enhance crew and guest experiences, streamline operations, and drive business value. Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning product development with RCG’s broader strategic goals, ensuring scalability, compliance, and excellence across a diverse and global fleet.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 Product Owners and Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic direction and coaching to ensure alignment with business goals, product excellence, and professional growth across the team.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for a portfolio of operational and crew-facing products supporting Immigration, Security, Safety, Crew HR, Finance, and Guest Services across all RCG brands and destinations.
  • Partner closely with Hotel Operations, Global Security, Marine, HR, Finance, and Guest Experience teams to identify operational pain points, compliance needs, and innovation opportunities.
  • Define product strategy, feature requirements, roadmaps, and business cases to support capital planning, regulatory alignment, and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into clear product visions and communicate them effectively to executive stakeholders.
  • Prioritize features, manage agile backlogs, and collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions.
  • Monitor product performance, crew and guest feedback, and operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on product direction, balancing operational excellence, crew experience, and business outcomes.

 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

  • 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager, leading complex portfolios and managing cross-functional product teams.
  • Proven experience in hospitality, maritime, travel, or enterprise operations with a focus on crew-facing or operational systems (e.g., HR, Finance, Security, Safety).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present strategic business cases and capital proposals to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, product roadmapping tools (e.g., Jira, Aha), and writing clear, actionable user stories.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data, regulatory requirements, and user feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills; ability to influence across levels and functions without direct authority.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering, design, operations, compliance, and finance teams in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Bonus points for prior cruise line, maritime, or large-scale hospitality experience involving multi-brand or multi-location operations.
  • Passionate about transforming complex operational challenges into intuitive, scalable digital solutions that empower crew and elevate guest service delivery.
  • Equally comfortable navigating agile backlogs in Jira and presenting strategic roadmaps in the boardroom.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and brings a product-thinking mindset to every product decision.
  • Brings empathy for both crew and guest experiences, with a strong sense of accountability for operational excellence.
  • Energized by leading and mentoring diverse product teams, and fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
