The Royal Caribbean Group’s IT Shipboard Onboard Revenue Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Manager, Product Management reporting to the Sr. Manager, Product Management.

The position is onsite and based in Miramar, Florida.

The position is also not eligible for work authorization sponsorship.

Position Summary:

This Lead owns the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for digital media and in-room entertainment across the fleet: NextGen TV, the stateroom TV experience, digital signage, and the content and advertising layer across all those endpoints. The stateroom screen is not just a channel list — it is a revenue surface, a service interface, and a brand experience. This role is responsible for making it all three.

The role also owns the Media Operations Hub (MOH): the centralized platform for getting content to every endpoint fleet-wide in one consistent, scalable way. No more per-venue, per-product content handling — one place to schedule, target, publish, and manage.

Sitting within Onboard Revenue Technology, this Lead is directly accountable for the revenue the media estate generates: advertising inventory, partner and brand placements, upsell surfaces, and measurable in-cabin conversion. Every product decision is evaluated against its commercial performance and its guest experience quality at the same time.

.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Digital Media Portfolio & Stateroom Experience

  • Own the roadmap for NextGen TV, the stateroom TV experience, and digital signage — balancing guest experience, operational complexity, and revenue.
  • Make the stateroom screen coherent end to end: entertainment, wayfinding, promotion, folio, and service in one consistent experience.
  • Define the content and advertising layer: what runs, when, to whom, and how it is measured.
  • Drive toward greater personalization and targeting — the right content to the right guest at the right point in their voyage.
  • Coordinate with the stateroom automation team where the two capabilities share the same screen.

Media Operations Hub (MOH)

  • Own MOH as a product with strategic intent: define what centralized content distribution means in practice across every endpoint class.
  • Build the self-service model and guardrails that let Brand Marketing and operations teams activate content without per-venue engineering intervention.
  • Define the workflow, permissioning, and governance model so content operations stay scalable as endpoints, brands, and content types grow.
  • Automate scheduling, packaging, and reporting so the team focuses on strategy, not repetitive operations.

Revenue, Measurement & Endpoint Readiness

  • Build and defend the business case for advertising and placement inventory across TV and signage.
  • Define the measurement model that proves what content drove revenue and what did not.
  • Work with Onboard Revenue leadership on pricing, packaging, and partner commitments.
  • Partner with the centralized endpoint team on device standards, installation sequencing, and fleet rollout — hardware readiness gates every content activation.
  • Feed media hardware requirements into buylists and new construction scope; ensure new vessels launch with full MOH-managed content infrastructure in place.

Backlog, Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Own and prioritize backlogs across the digital media vertical based on revenue impact, guest experience, and technical dependencies.
  • Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria; ensure items are refined and ready for delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering through sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; accept or reject deliverables against defined criteria.
  • Primary product contact for Brand Marketing, Onboard Revenue, Guest Experience, Platform Engineering, and vendor partners — one prioritized view, not a queue of competing requests.
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships for digital media platforms, content delivery, and advertising technology.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in product management or digital media, including 2+ years managing a team or owning a product portfolio.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a content or media platform at scale — distribution, scheduling, targeting, and measurement — across physical endpoints (TV, signage) rather than web-only.
  • Track record of tying product decisions to revenue: advertising inventory, placement, upsell surfaces, or measurable conversion.
  • Experience where hardware and software intersect — device fleets, install dependencies, activation windows.
  • Experience with distributed teams, offshore delivery capacity, and vendor management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Commercially minded — evaluates product decisions through a revenue lens and a guest experience lens simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management with marketing, commercial, and operations partners; holds a prioritized roadmap against competing asks.
  • Comfortable with bandwidth, connectivity, crew workflow, and guest privacy constraints across shoreside and shipboard environments.
  • Strong product fundamentals: discovery, roadmap, backlog, delivery, and measurement.
  • Familiar with advertising technology, measurement frameworks, and attribution models.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery tools.
  • Applies AI and automation to reduce content operations effort and improve reliability.
