Engineer, SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Engineer

Position Summary / Job Purpose:


Software Engineer for SAP Payroll, IT will report to the Senior Manager, IT HR and will function as a SuccessFactors/SAP Engineer/Consultant for the Employee Central Payroll Module. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring proper design, configuration, development, and documentation of system change requests and processes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Function as the primary SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Engineer by providing support in the areas of requirement gathering, business process mapping, data conversions, system configurations, development, testing, deployment, cutover coordination, training, and post go live support.
  • Coordinate and execute SuccessFactors release updates including functional enhancement reviews with the business and testing.
  • Provide training to end users during project rollout as needed.
  • Document internal processes and audit procedures to ensure strong data integrity and privacy of systems
  • Develop and maintain system and program administration diagrams, process flows, and integration specifications
  • Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes, systems, and reports
  • Conduct troubleshooting analysis; Document system errors and issues clearly/with screenshots; escalates for review & vendor ticket creation


Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an HR system focused role including application development and or solution development/delivery.
  • Previous experience managing configurations and confidential data with the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll module or SAP ERP Payroll module (Royal Caribbean uses the entire SuccessFactors Talent & HCM suite including Employee Central, Payroll, Time, and Benefits).
  • Ability to analyze extensive and complex ranges of data, information, processes and, system solutions to produce effective and efficient business solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
