Associate Engineer, Cyber Enablement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Associate Engineer is becoming an expert in a multitude of technologies and services, responsible for deploying transformative security tools to enable Global Information Security capabilities. This role involves identifying innovative solutions, creating patterns, and validating them to allow for self-service and generating a multiplier effect in securing capabilities. The engineer will embed with project teams to understand complex architectures, apply correct security controls, and ensure they are governable in the future. 

  • Serve as a technical security expert to bring security transformation to both new and legacy infrastructure 

  • Deploy new technologies quickly and successfully transition new platforms to the Security Operations Team for ongoing support 

  • Embed with project teams to understand complex architectures, apply correct security controls, and ensure they are governable in the future 

  • Develop patterns and validate those patterns through engagement with GIS contacts and lab work 

  • Ensure solution design and implementation follows corporate standards and policies 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION 

  • Working towards a Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Math 

  • Preferred experience working in large, cross-functional teams in a globally diverse model 

  • Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus 

  • Specific Technical Skillsets 

  • Data Science (e.g. Databricks, PowerBI/Tableau) 

  • IAM (Active Directory, EntraID) 

  • Networking Concepts; Zero-Trust 

  • Python and other coding languages 

  • Experience working with AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud 

  • Experience with various AI technologies 

  • Metrics and Reporting  

FINANCIAL/QUANTITIVE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Ensures individual expenses are within corporate guidelines.
