The Royal Caribbean Group’s Information Technology team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Enterprise Architect reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Product.


This position will work on-site in Miramar, Florida.

 

 

Position Summary

The Enterprise Architect for ERP & Accounting is responsible for Architecture and technical leadership in our Enterprise Architecture (EA) team, which works on enterprise-wide initiatives. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for technology architecture roadmaps, design, and technical leadership for the various projects, with an SME ownership for architecture functions, including accounting, financial management, supply chain, and other ERP domains.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical architecture and guidance to management as it relates to various enterprise IT systems
  • Demonstrated track record of expertise in multiple areas and extensive domain knowledge of ERP modules, as well as a good understanding of supporting ERP Modules.
  • Experience in ERP rollouts and integrations with different upstream/downstream systems
  • Strong domain knowledge in accounting, financial management, supply chain, and other ERP domains
  • Experience working with business and functional teams.
  • Create reference architecture artifacts
  • Evaluate Application Portfolios and develop modernization strategy
  • Work closely with various stakeholders, effectively communicating and managing customer expectations
  • Provide enterprise architecture technical leadership for global initiatives and implementation collaboration with project, business, and technology teams.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend, and enhance service delivery in the SME areas
  • Serves as escalation point for the SME area.
  • Hands-on R & D work for evaluating new technologies
  • Serves as an escalation point for support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in the resolution of escalated application or system problems.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for solution design, domain technologies
  • Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
  • Developing architecture processes
  • Strong technical leadership and communications skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and coordination to ensure the successful creation of roadmaps

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years in IT architecture, engineering, and operations
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with an MS/MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • 15+ years of experience
  • Ability to work leading a group.
  • Organizational and mentoring skills
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Suite and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus
  • Experience in integration technologies that include Public cloud native services, OIC, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, and Application Performance Management implementations
  • Solution design and implementation experience with projects that encompass web services, microservices, API gateways, etc.,
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS & OCI
  • Proficiency in project estimations, capacity planning, availability planning and performance
  • Documentation and development of processes and procedures.
  • Experience with Architecture frameworks like Zachman, FEA, TOGAF, MODAF/DODAF

 

Travel Requirement

  • Able to travel 25%
