The Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Information Security Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Analyst, Cybersecurity Policy reporting to the AVP, Cybersecurity Strategy and Business Enablement.
The position is onsite and based in Miramar, Florida.
Position Summary:
Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a dynamic, and strategic Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to implement cybersecurity documentation governance. This position is essential to reducing risk, supporting regulatory compliance, and increasing operational integrity. The successful candidate will work with technical and non-technical personnel to develop, organize, vet, and implement cybersecurity policy, procedure, standards, guidance, and dashboards. The successful candidate will be responsible for cybersecurity documentation encompassing Information Technology, Operational Technology, and Entertainment Technology aboard ships, at ports, private destinations, and shoreside.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have 1+ or more years of documentation management / cybersecurity experience and:
- Propose and develop a cybersecurity documentation standard. The standard will address the timing, composition, and structure of cybersecurity documentation.
- Promote best practices in documentation management, including taxonomy, tagging, linking, and document control.
- Conduct quality control on cybersecurity documentation to ensure alignment with operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and risk management requirements as defined by the responsible stakeholders.
- Develop, organize, and maintain a comprehensive library of cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Serve as the central coordinator for all cybersecurity documentation, ensuring streamlined access and intuitive navigation for both users and cybersecurity personnel
- Establish solid working relationships with Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, and IT executives.
- Collaborate with Security Education personnel to deliver training on documentation standards and policy or procedure topics where supplemental instruction provides clear value beyond written documentation.
- Drive cybersecurity policy within the maritime environment by building strategic relationships, tailoring approaches to maritime-specific contexts, and integrating policies into existing operational processes.
- Work with the Risk, Compliance, and technical teams within Global Information Security to ensure their documentation remains within specification and include their inputs in policy consideration.
- Leverage artificial intelligence to simplify cybersecurity documentation, making it more readable, and accessible.
- Stay current on emerging regulations that may impact cybersecurity at Royal Caribbean Group.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or better in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or two years of relevant experience
- Two years of recent security control development in any of the following environments: SOX, SOC, ISO, PCI, NIST
- Ability to translate technical security requirements into clear, actionable policies and standards
- Demonstrable experience in creating and implementing policy roadmaps
- Experience in auditing security policies and standards.
- Experience in managing documentation and delivering results on time in complex environments.
- Experience in working in a large, globally distributed environment.
- Working with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Executive Leadership

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with the Service Now Policy Module or other documentation management tools
- Experience developing content in Confluence
