The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Entertainment Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Temp Entertainment Technical Operations reporting to the Senior Manager, Entertainment Technical.
Summary & Key Responsibilities
- Support the Tech Ops Manager and Schedulers in updating reports related to Par levels and staffing needs.
- Assist with the documentation and coordination of staffing plans for production show installations on ships.
- Input, track, and communicate all Extra Crew Cabin (ECC) assignments as necessary.
- Contribute to logistics planning for global recruiting events and programs.
- Collaborate with the Entertainment team to identify best practices and suggest process improvements.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for production show install technicians working onboard ships.
- Handle all cabin requests and coordinate travel logistics for Technical Vendors.
- Oversee the logistics of cargo movement for the Entertainment Department, including airfreights and ground transportation.
- Coordinate annual inspections and ensure the dashboard is up to date on Smartsheet and Power BI.
- Maintain and provide access to compliance documentation as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Note: This is a temporary position, and responsibilities may evolve based on departmental needs.
Qualifications and Education
- 2-3 years’ experience in the entertainment industry preferred.
- Cruise industry experience both shipboard and shoreside a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High School Degree required. BA Degree preferred.
- Ability to support PowerPoint and virtual conference calls (Zoom, WebEx, Teams)
- Language Skills.
- Mathematical Skills with strength in numerical analytics.
- Computer Skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft office and 365/ cloud services like BOX and Smartsheet.
- Ability to take and distribute meeting notes, develop forms, work within databases, sorting, pivot chart, Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Reasoning Ability
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage last minute emergencies in a calm and organized manner.
