The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Strategic Research Manager on the Marketing Consumer Insights Team reporting to the Sr. Manager, Consumer Insights.

 

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida

 

Position Summary:

 

The Strategic Research Manager is a pivotal leader within the Consumer Insights and Business Strategy department, responsible for managing projects and spearheading the development and planning of roadmaps that drive the company's strategic direction. This role is instrumental in planning research aimed at providing actionable insights, working with internal and external partners to ensure the value of the team’s contributions are maximized for each engagement. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in managing teams to deliver impactful results.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts and researchers to conduct research projects and derive actionable insights, while managing the budget effectively.

 

  • Lead the development and execution of research projects to understand consumer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.

 

  • Use findings from research and data analysis to inform business strategy, marketing and product development.

 

  • Utilize storytelling techniques to communicate complex data and insights in a way that resonates with different audiences.

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external research partners and vendors.

 

  • Exploring and applying new technologies, including the development of business cases for potential investment.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Five-year Bachelor's or equivalent required.

 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer research, strategy, market analysis, or related field. 

 

  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel.

  • Experience managing teams and projects. Collaborate with various teams to align and influence strategic decision-making process.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of research and analysis.

  • Apply strategic thinking to develop insights that drive business growth and profitability.

  • Strong Attention to Detail: meticulous in ensuring data and insights presented are accurate.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required.
