Royal Caribbean Group’s Human Resources team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr. Employee relations analyst reporting to the Sr Manager, Employee Rel Counsel.

 

This role will work onsite in Miami, Florida.

 

Position Summary

 

The Employee Relations team serves as a bridge between Human Resources and Legal. The Senior Analyst of Employee Relations will provide support in connection with the application of shipboard HR policies, resolution of shipboard and Union grievances, management of the Aware Hotline, and will support the Employee Relations team in a variety of initiatives.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with Union grievances, including reviewing relevant HR-documents, direct communication with the Union, and overseeing the tracking and close-out of grievances. 
  • Assist with intake, assignment, and monitoring of HR-related AWARE hotline reports. 
  • Provide support with information gathering and preparing documentation related to HR-related AWARE hotline reports and Union grievances, in order to ensure thorough investigations and proper closure. 
  • Assist with responding to the fleet and shoreside questions relating to corporate policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), Safety and Quality Manuals (SQMs), and the Maritime Labor Convention (MLC).  
  • Support Employee Relations team in connection with HR-related audits.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as tasks related to Employee relations team projects and initiatives.  


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree  
  • Experience in HR and/or cruise industry preferred 
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Commitment to professionalism, timelines, accuracy, follow-through, and anticipating business needs 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Cruise industry experience preferred
