Royal Caribbean Group’s Human Resources has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr. Analyst, Shipboard Compensation reporting to the Sr Director, Shipboard Compensation
Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst, Compensation will serve as a subject matter expert to ensure that compensation is competitive versus the market, equitable internally across divisions and functions, and provides sensible job progression potential. The Sr. Analyst will work with Stakeholders to provide them with workable solutions and to ensure that our compensation practices are fair, competitive, equitable, and aligned with business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Operations to understand business needs and advise appropriate actions.
- Ensure full compliance with the requirements of CBA.
- Evaluate positions using existing job evaluation methodology, market pricing, and internal equity to determine pay ranges and wage grids. Conduct competitive wage analysis and make appropriate recommendation
- Administer and oversee the process of merit increases and annual bonus.
- Review and analyze compensation workflow process and make recommendations for enhancements to current business practices; provide input for the development and implementation of new processes that will create efficiency.
- Support implementation of new compensation policies and processes and develop communication and training materials to maximize understanding and perceived value.
- Ensure that all compensation programs comply with applicable laws and regulations within corporate guidelines; stay abreast of evolving thinking of governmental entities in anticipation of future changes.
- Work with the technical team to ensure data accuracy and reporting to meet business unit and system requirements.

Qualifications and Education
Responsibilities are of a professional level, typically requiring a four-year degree (master’s degree in a related field preferred) and an understanding of both compensation theory and practice. At least 5-7 years’ experience within a Human Resources Department required with a minimum of 3-5 years in Compensation, administering compensation policies, procedures, and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Articulate and able to summarize complex processes.
- Understanding of compensation policies, procedures and practices.
- CBA knowledge is desirable.
- JD Edwards experience preferred.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Ability to write effectively and present information to top management.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
