Royal Caribbean Group’s Risk Management Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) reporting to the Director, IBP.
Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) functions as the head of the IBP vertical inside the GSC Business & Performance Planning team. The role will promote best in class IBP practice, develop and maintain future and current business planning and data management strategy, and develop insights to provide recommendations to optimize existing Supply Chain processes & generate value. The cross-functional role will ensure the optimal usage & planning of a large multi-department team serving as the critical-liaison between multiple departments across the enterprise, including Supply Chain, Brand Operations/Finance, Strategy & Analytics, Corporate Strategy, and multiple program/project teams. This roll will also indirectly manage the Integrated Business Planning pod consisting of members from the AI, Data Engineering and IT teams. This role will collaboratively influence decision making related to procurement strategy, operational efficiency, and IBP strategy development and execution.
The Senior Manager of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) plays a critical role in driving cross-functional alignment and business performance through structured planning and analytics. Reporting to the Director of GSC Business & Performance Planning this role oversees the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team and is responsible for managing end-to-end planning processes that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Additionally, this role will act as the business owner for key Supply Chain assets that provide strategic value by facilitating in excess of $200M of savings each year. This includes managing a demand/supply forecast tool, overseeing metrics reporting, database management, and data modeling and visualization tools for the department. The position will also be responsible for supervising the development of new Supply Chain assets within IBP-related capital projects and collaborate directly with multiple technical teams on business requirements.
The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to create business value, drive strategy, optimize processes, and ensure seamless coordination across teams to achieve company objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead the Integrated Business Planning Team: Provide strategic direction, coaching, and support to the IBP team to enhance collaboration, improve processes, and align planning efforts with business priorities.
• Lead the Integrated Business Planning Pod: Indirectly provide direction and support to the IBP Pod in the execution of strategic projects that create value for the enterprise. Develop and maintain KPIs that measure the success of the team as well as the enterprise projects.
• Drive Business Value Through Analytics: Utilize advanced data visualization and analytical tools to interpret business trends, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actionable insights to senior leadership. Owns the further development and continuous refinement of the forecast modeling tools as well as success measurement KPIs.
• Coordinate and Facilitate Business Planning Cadence: Establish and manage a structured meeting cadence to ensure alignment across teams, drive accountability, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across supply chain, finance, operations, and commercial teams to ensure an integrated approach to business planning.
• Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Identify process improvements, implement best practices, and drive efficiency in planning methodologies.
• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Present findings, reports, and recommendations to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and clarity in planning outcomes.

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
• Four-year Bachelor's or equivalent required; MBA preferred; ten to twelve years related business analysis / data science / finance / strategy experience and/or training.
• Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel. Strong PC skills are required.
• Experience in facilitating cross-functional planning meetings and driving consensus among diverse teams.
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
• Advanced MS PowerBI and Oracle SQL required.
• Understanding of backend systems and data architecture (Oracle, SQL Server, Azure Data Studio, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of the cruise industry preferred.
• Leadership: Ability to influence, inspire and develop a team while driving team culture of inclusion, engagement, and self-starting.
• Foundational Knowledge: Strong understanding of strategy, project management, operations, marketing, and finance principles to lead management on short and long-term strategies.
• Complex Problem Solving: Ability to identifying the root cause of complex problems, develop options and recommend solutions.
• Analytical: Data combined with critical thinking to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities
• Presentation: Strong aptitude to present complex data analyses into simple, concise, and engaging stories that bring insights to the forefront using Power Point
• Results-driven: Ability to complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly by meticulously ensuring data and insights presented are accurate.
• Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are communicating and taking time to understand requirements.
• Negotiating and Persuasion: Able to bring others together to try to reconcile differences and persuading others to your point of view.
• Financial Modeling: Evaluating data, determining optimal way to spend to accomplish company goals.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other Data Visualization tool, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required.
Financial Responsibilities
- The development and monitoring of value creation initiatives derived via the IBP program.
- Development and recommendation of the financial forecast as it pertains to IBP and Performance Management.
