Royal Caribbean Group’s Product Development Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Senior Analyst, Product Development Projects reporting to the Sr Manager, Business Integration.
This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
The Sr Analyst, Product Development Projects functions as an integral part of the Royal Caribbean Product Development department, and more specifically the Private Destinations team. The role will support the team’s integration and development efforts as key support for a major destination project. This role is successful if they can effectively create and maintain organizational tools to manage various workstreams (project management), understand complex issues and communicate with stakeholders on possible resolutions, and can serve as the representative of the team in meetings while successfully communicating the needs of the project. The ideal candidate can leverage his/her project management experience and critical thinking to frame complex issues in terms of trade-offs, risks, and benefits, as well as assist in building recommendations and justifications for various project ambitions. Along with integration responsibilities, this role will also encompass ad hoc tasks including but not limited to, reporting of strategic initiatives, presentation creation and support, and business case modeling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the integration team with project management of key supporting development initiatives within the private destination portfolio including coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with private destinations, construction, hotel operations, product development, legal, and brand/corporate finance to develop, and consistently update, project plans, timelines, and spend curves for each initiative while considering the interdependencies that exist across workstreams and with the core development.
- Excellent and frequent communication regarding overall project statuses, timelines, and risks, and support ad hoc tasks or analyses around each initiative.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills – including strong experience creating PowerPoint presentations for executives, experience with writing briefs is a plus. Strong knowledge of the cruise industry preferred.
- Strong experience in project management, preferably working on large-scale development projects within the US and/or Mexico.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills required, this project is very detailed, and it is critical this person is highly organized.
- Analytical: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and opportunities of alternative solutions and conclusions.
- Demonstrate professional communication, collaboration, curiosity, persistency, empathy and responsibility
- Complex Problem Solving: Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop options and implement solutions.
- Presentation: Using computer skills and communication style to create, manipulate, edit, and communicate slide presentations. Understanding end-state and the best way to present a story in a logical and analytical fashion to achieve desired results.
- Active Listening: Giving full attention to what other people are communicating and taking time to understand points being made.
- Basic understanding of legal/construction agreements, corporate governance, and financial planning of complex projects.
- Negotiating and Persuasion: Bringing others together to try to reconcile differences and persuading others to your point of view.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well with others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
- 3-5 years related project management, real estate development, construction or product development experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Cruise industry operations or resort management experience preferred.
- The candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of personnel. Strong PC skills are required.
- Bilingual Spanish and English fluency preferred
- Candidates should have U.S. work authorization and be able to travel visa-free to Mexico.
