Royal Caribbean Group’s Silversea Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr Analyst, Global Sales reporting to the Senior Manager Sales and Marketing.
This position will work onsite in Miami, Florida
Role Purpose and Objectives:
The Senior Financial Analyst provides strategic financial insights, leads complex analysis, and supports planning processes to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency across the Sales organization.
· Minimum 3 Years of Experience, in related department (Sales or Marketing)
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the support of budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple global and regional units, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment. (Responsible)
· Drive process improvements in expense tracking, reporting, and financial data management for increased visibility and control. (Responsible)
· Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights to
senior management. (Informed)
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic financial plans and support key organizational initiatives. (Consulted)
· Perform detailed variance analysis on operating expenses to identify trends and support
strategic decisions. (Accountable)
· Support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple global cost centers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. (Responsible)
· Lead initiatives to improve expense tracking systems, enhancing visibility and control over
costs. (Responsible)
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies are integrated and
supported. (Consulted)
· Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to
leadership. (Informed)
· Assist in the development of strategic financial plans, aligning departmental goals with overall business objectives. (Consulted)
· Manage complex financial data, including multi-currency and intercompany transactions,
ensuring accuracy and compliance. (Responsible)
· Provide training and support to team members on financial processes and systems, fostering continuous improvement. (Consulted)
· Contribute to the enhancement of financial reporting processes to increase efficiency and
accuracy. (Responsible)
· The role oversees a broad and expanding scope of budgets across multiple organizational units.
· The position manages a significant portion of the organization’s financial planning, with a focus on expense control and strategic support.
· Developing and maintaining budgets, conducting variance analysis, improving expense tracking systems, and supporting future initiatives such as ROI and Cost of Sales analysis.
Working Conditions
The role primarily involves standard office-based work with a typical 40-hour workweek. It requires regular collaboration with cross-functional teams across different regions, which may involve occasional virtual meetings outside of regular hours due to time zone differences. The position may require occasional extended hours during peak periods such as year-end budgeting or forecast cycles. The work environment is generally quiet and collaborative, with access to necessary technology and resources to support remote work and efficient task completion.
