Royal Caribbean Group’s Marketing Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Specialist, Graphic Designer reporting to the Mgr, Creative Design.
This position will be working onsite from Miami.
Position Summary:
This role assists senior creative team members to concept, develop, execute and optimize creative advertising campaign assets for consumer and trade media including direct mail, print media, logos, flyers, graphics and special projects. The Graphic Design Specialist implements page designs, make image selections, rework text as needed to enhance design, and must have a solid eye for color – both to implement color schemes and perform basic color corrections. This role also includes responsibilities for internal presentations and documents designed to convey company or department plans, sell in strategy, or communicate to fellow employees. The Graphic Design Specialist must have the ability to think critically, contribute ideation, and provide design solutions that meet brand standards under the direction of senior staff. They must possess great time management skills, be self-starting, collaborative and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with the concept and development of advertising campaign assets for consumer and trade media, including direct mail, print media, logos, flyers, graphics and special projects
- Build print and digital templates to streamline the development of creative assets for the team
- Responsible for final preparation and release of advertising campaign assets for various Sales and Marketing channels
- Drive brand consistency through ongoing development and implementation of brand guidelines. Provide design support to other communication teams (Sales, Marketing, Employee Communications, etc. ).
- Implement page designs and layouts for print collateral
- Make image selections for team asset libraries and external projects
- Responsible for internal presentations and documents designed to convey company or department plans, sell in strategy, or communicate to fellow employees
- Partner with other creative team members to proactively seek efficiencies and opportunities in the workflow.
- Partner with team managers, and Sales and Marketing account teams to stick within specified budgets for projects.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
- 1-3 years related experience and/or training
- Accuracy, attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are essential.
- Able to multi-task and work on numerous projects simultaneously
- Strong creative training required across a diverse array of deliverables.
- Must have a basic understanding of prepress and print production
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience and up-to-date knowledge of Mac applications including Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is required as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with FileMaker is a plus.
