Spec, Ent Activities & Casting

Help streamline the process of hiring new crew members to scheduling the crew member along side the Senior Specialist, Casting and Recruiting and the Scheduling team. Will be helping the team with developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, updating SQM and reviewing homeport and the company website for new information that may need to be updated or add.  Opportunities include assisting with analysis and execution of current programs and analysis of Guest satisfaction metrics and other financial and business analytics projects. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  1. Working along side and helping the schedulers (Specialist, Entertainment Scheduler – Youth, Specialist, Ent Scheduler – Sports and Senior Specialist, Entertainment Activities Casting & Recruitment on day to day document support of the 900 plus applicants aspiring to work onboard. 

  1. Working closely with the Youth, Family and Sports teams to assist in compiling and creating new shipboard programming concepts and training materials.  

  1. Will assist in gathering data and information for analysis of current and future projects through Medallia with both ratings and comment tracking.  

  1. Will help create or update Standard Operation Procedures for future concepts or existing activities and will identify new flow plans for activities and concepts.  

  1. Will work on updating and publishing crew Job Descriptions for the front of house operations. 

  1. Will learn operational systems such as TMS (Technical Management System), E1, smartsheet, sharepoint, and homeport editing. 

  1. Will help organize mass email influx of fleet communication via the Entertainment Activities Scheduling inbox aand the Entertainment Activities Casting inbox.  

 

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • The role must have the ability to think critically, use independent judgment and exercise key decision-making and project management skills.
  • Must have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to communicate in a multicultural environment with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to read and interpret business documents as well as to write and generate reports and procedures.
  •  Proficiency of Entertainment knowledge used in the production and implementation of all Entertainment matters. 
  • Proficient skills with Sharepoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Smartsheet, and PowerPoint.
