The Royal Caribbean Group’s Total Rewards Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, Total Rewards Project Planning & Analysis reporting to the VP of Total Rewards.


This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

 

Position Summary:

 

The Senior Manager, Total Rewards Project Planning & Analysis plays a vital role in key business projects for the Total Rewards team. This role is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of projects, programs and initiatives across the Total Rewards, People, and the overall Company. S/he supports the Vice President, Total Rewards, and her direct reports to track and achieve departmental goals on a global scale.

 

This highly operative and facilitative role requires a combination of organizational and analytical skills, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role. Responsible for defining and gaining agreement on the project scope and objectives that will be measured. Oversees and coordinates all aspects of the project or initiative.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for leading and supporting critical projects led by Total Rewards that have impact across the function, business unit and enterprise.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop annual and long-term Global Total Rewards Strategies.
  • Development of Total Rewards Strategic Planning documentation and set, track, and monitor progress through KPIs and identify potential risks and support development of mitigation plans.
  • Interface cross-functionally with business partners and influence leaders and subject matter experts and communicate, track, monitor and report on departmental project plans, milestone achievement, critical issues, and key dependencies to achieve deliverables.
  • Identify, recommend, and lead improvements across the department for optimal performance and collaboration across all programs.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration of project contributors across Total Rewards and partner functions to deliver efficient and timely project delivery.
  • Ensure senior team alignment with strategy and culture and promotes collaboration and teamwork among them.
  • Manage department budget and works closely with Finance and HR to meet targets and objectives.
  • Utilize established criteria and tools to effectively and efficiently facilitate and report against program execution with measurable results for RCG.
  • Excel at connecting the dots across programs and functions and influence the weaving of the strategy and story.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

 

  • Minimum 7 years of firsthand experience leading complex, multi-year & global implementation projects
  • Excellent written, verbal and data-driven story telling communication skills necessary. Clear and precise communication at all levels of the organization essential.
  • Proficient with SharePoint, MS Project, Visio, MS Office suite of tools
  • Highly self-sufficient and able to effectively influence all levels of project participants.
  • Promotes teamwork to achieve the organization/program mission; win as a team.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable in highly dynamic and frequently ambiguous environment
  • PMP/Agile certification preferred.
