The Royal Caribbean Group’s HR Technology Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Manager, Program Management reporting to the Senior Director, Product Management.

 

This position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

 

The Senior Manager, Program Management – HR Technology is responsible for leading enterprise-wide programs that enhance Royal Caribbean Group’s HR systems, tools, and technology landscape. This role oversees the delivery, governance, and strategic alignment of complex HR technology initiatives, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and seamless integration across global operations. The position partners with HR leaders, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to advance digital transformation and optimize employee experience through technology innovation. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Leads end-to-end program management for HR technology initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations. 

  • Oversees project governance structures, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational priorities. 

  • Collaborates with HR, IT, and business teams to define program objectives, deliverables, success metrics, and resource plans. 

  • Drives change management, communications, and training strategies to maximize adoption and engagement for new technologies. 

  • Manages a portfolio of projects across HR domains such as Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, and Workforce Planning. 

  • Ensures compliance with data security, privacy, and operational risk frameworks within all technology programs. 

  • Develops and maintains long-term roadmaps for HR technology evolution, emphasizing scalability and global consistency. 

  • Provides leadership, guidance, and coaching to project managers, analysts, and technical leads. 

  • Partners with vendors and external partners to deliver strategic technology solutions and manage service levels. 

  • Prepares executive updates, dashboards, and insights on project performance, risks, and opportunities for optimization. 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field required. 

  • PMP, Agile, or other project management certification preferred. 

  • Master’s degree is a plus. 

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR technology or program management experience. 

  • Proven experience leading enterprise HR system implementations (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM). 

  • 3+ years managing teams or cross-functional project leadership. 

  • Strong track record managing global or enterprise-scale HR technology portfolios. 

 

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Expertise in project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and process mapping. 

  • Solid understanding of HR business processes and digital technology architecture. 

  • Ability to assess, design, and implement process automation and data-driven solutions. 

  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira) and executive reporting dashboards. 

 

Leadership/Behavioral Competencies:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs with cross-functional visibility and strategic impact. 

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills. 

  • Proven capability in guiding teams through transformation and change management processes. 

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. 

  • Builds strong partnerships and promotes collaboration across global teams.
