The Royal Caribbean Group’s AI & Analytics Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Senior Manager, GenAI Solutions Engineering reporting to the Director, Platform Engineer.
The position is onsite and based in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary
The Senior Manager, GenAI Solutions Engineering leads the architecture, development, and implementation of generative AI solutions across multiple business units. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to integrate GenAI technologies into new and existing products, ensuring global scalability, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals. The Senior Manager directs large, complex projects and cross-functional teams, sets technical direction, and fosters a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads the end-to-end architecture, development, and implementation of generative AI solutions for multiple business units.
- Develops and executes strategies for integrating GenAI technologies into products, ensuring scalability and compliance.
- Directs large, complex projects and cross-functional teams, setting technical direction and ensuring delivery of enterprise-grade AI systems.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align AI solutions with organizational objectives.
- Guides the evaluation and adoption of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Mentors and develops engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Establishes and enforces best practices for AI model development, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
- Oversees technical troubleshooting and resolution of complex, multi-component failures in AI systems.
- Ensures rigorous application testing, including unit, integration, functional, resilience, and performance testing for all AI solutions.
- Publishes and promotes reusable frameworks, libraries, and services to accelerate AI solution delivery.
- Supports cost-efficient architecture decisions using Azure Cost Management tools and contributes to optimizing cloud infrastructure spend.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in AI/ML/GenAI solution development and deployment.
- Proven expertise in full-stack development and Azure cloud services.
- Deep understanding of GenAI architectures.
- Experience with enterprise software architecture, cloud platforms, and AI frameworks.
- Experience with enterprise identity management and secure coding practices.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, cross-functional technology projects and teams.
- Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade AI systems.
- Proficiency in Azure cloud services and cost management.
- Strong knowledge of GenAI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Experience with secure coding, identity management, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Effective collaborator with internal and external stakeholders.
