The Royal Caribbean Group’s Celebrity Cruises brand has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Sr. Graphic Designer on the Marketing Team reporting to the Director, Executive Creative.

 

Position Summary:

 

Responsible for visual design from conception to completion in various medias such as online, print, direct mail, social media and newspaper.  Will internalize the essence of vital brand specifications for each project and provide high quality work by the required deadline.  Provide design direction and support to all company communications teams (Sale, Operations, etc.). Works closely with Sales and Marketing Account Executives and Graphic Designers for project completion.

 

The Sr. Graphic Designer will lead the development of the Brand Development teams creative portfolio, which includes developing the creative for scope, concepts and products of future Royal Caribbean offerings. This role is responsible driving collaboration with the marketing teams to create the visual inspiration for all new venues and experiences. New venue/experience concepts must directly respond to consumer insights. The creation of impactful visual design experience guidelines that build on the brand identity while flawlessly depicting the must haves of the new venues and experiences will be key to defining what’s next for the brand’s vacation experience. 

 

This position will work on-site in Miami, Florida.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive collaboration with the various marketing teams, hotel and newbuild teams to ideate and create high visual impacting design and new concepts
  • Drive brand consistency through ongoing development and implementation of brand guidelines for visual design
  • Ensure timely release of new creative executions to Mechanical/Release
  • Provide design direction and support to other communication teams (sales, operations)
  • Partner with any external agencies to drive asset development and final approval 
  • Timely review of all Creative work to be presented at weekly approval meetings
  • Design logos and presentations
  • Consistently produce a high volume of quality work while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain coherent brand identities across all projects and platforms 
  • Work closely with concept development to ensure creative experience is on brand and responds to consumer insights 
  • Image editing, manipulation, color correction and retouching of photos and renderings
  • Ensure continuity of design and assets shared with areas of the organization

 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Must possess excellent visual and graphic design composition skills 
  • Must have creative vision and the ability to make that vision come to life 
  • Must have the ability to create and implement brand standards 
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of Windows and PC platform, including proficient knowledge of PowerPoint 
  • Strong work ethic and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to collaborate with others
  • Willingness to take personal initiative
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
