Senior Analyst, Talent Operations

Position Summary: 

 

This position will contribute and support the planning and implementation of the Talent Team’s strategies and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a driver of continuous improvement and a facilitator for key Talent initiatives to deliver the department’s needs. Effective collaboration skills, strong management of project deliverables and development of presentations are key to the success of this position. Supporting the Head of Talent Strategy & Operations, this person will collaborate with various corporate departments and external partners to support data collection, planning, and execute recommended actions and will independently maintain relationships with key customers. 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Utilize project management tools to lead and oversee the maintenance of project delivery. Ensures project status is accurately reflected through regular updates of tasks.  

  • Proactively identify where Talent initiatives have broader organizational impacts, note risks and propose alternatives.  

  • Explores trends and opportunities to rethink and/or introduce new talent management programs.  

  • Supports the Talent team with the development of programs, processes, templates or ideas that enhances effectiveness. 

  • Administers departmental budget, including budget planning, administration and reconciliation.  

  • Assist with the planning of stakeholder engagement to help drive strategic projects across the organization.  

  • Organizes and prepares the communication of program status and initiatives on a regular basis to key stakeholders and core team.  

  • Create presentations to share with key stakeholders (internal + external) outlining updates and progress on initiatives/ projects.  

  • Support the development and roll out of Talent programs and campaigns. 

 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s in business management, program management or related field 

  • Minimum 2-5 years of related work experience 

  • Successful at creating effective, visually engaging presentations within constraints of project deadlines while focused on consistency and quality assurance.  

  • Experience in supporting business units, clients, vendors, marketing alliances and cross functional teams.  

  • Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.  

 

 

Knowledge and Skills: 

 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills including writing and editing. 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment 

  • Skilled with supporting and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while working effectively under the pressure of last-minute deadlines and changing priorities 

  • Experience facilitating groups of stakeholders to arrive at conclusions and recommendations  

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite

The employee is occasionally required to walk to the dock, ascend and descend the vessel. This position may regularly travel domestically or internationally. Visual requirements include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus 

 

 

Work Environment: 

 

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. The environment includes work inside/outside the office, travel to other offices, possibly travel domestic and international, and work in shipboard functions. A high noise level is possible if visiting shipboard or offsite locations.
