The Royal Caribbean Group, Celebrity Hotel Operations team has an exciting career opportunity for a full Senior Analyst, Onboard Revenue Inventory & Planning reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Planning.
Position Summary
The Sr. Analyst, Onboard Revenue Inventory & Planning supports the implementation of Onboard Revenue Inventory Strategy through project management, coordination of key stakeholders, and analysis of results to identify opportunities for improvement and enhancements. Onboard Revenue Inventory & Planning Sr. Analyst supports tasks and deliverables related to Celebrity Cruises strategy of inventory availability pre-cruise and onboard that supports Onboard Revenue critical success metrics. This position will report to the Manager/Senior Manager of Onboard Revenue and will support a team of remote Inventory Specialists with reporting, analysis, project management tools and meeting governance.
The product implementation and data analysis lead is responsible for transforming innovative ideas into actionable plans, overseeing product creation, and ensuring seamless system integration. This role serves as a key liaison across departments, manages projects from inception to completion, mentors team members, and leverages data to identify opportunities for improvements and cost savings. The ideal candidate possesses strong back-end system knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence.
This position is essential in maintaining the necessary Onboard Revenue programs across all pre-cruise external and internal systems. The Sr. Analyst will play an important role in the implementation of requirements for all Pre-Cruise Promotional events to ensure the right levels of inventory are available for guests to book; and exceed all revenue goals for Celebrity Cruises. This role will also support the analytics and performance assessments of onboard revenue inventory including by not limited to tour revenue, dining, beverage, destination experiences, pre and post packages, internet, spa, retail, photo, amenities, packages, and onboard experiences for pay.
This Sr. Analyst is expected to deliver results through effective project management skills and effective communication across various internal stakeholders, and up through the leadership of the department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop actionable plans for new ideas, with a deep understanding of back-end systems, providing critical analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead product creation, troubleshooting, and system integration efforts, working closely with key stakeholders and cross-departmental teams.
- Serve as a primary contact for integrating new products into existing systems, ensuring smooth deployment.
- Oversee key projects from initial planning through execution, maintaining timelines and deliverables.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Create and maintain dashboards to monitor key metrics, performance, and system health.
- Conduct reporting and analysis to assess current states, identify gaps, and set goals for future performance improvements.
- Develop, document, and update training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), for the Onboard Revenue Inventory team, and other stakeholders within the department and maintaining a comprehensive team library.
- Utilize deep data analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies.
- Support Onboard Revenue team by assisting, administering and maintaining information in Pre Cruise-Planner (PCP) program; Hybris and SAP Commerce platform, as well as by distributing inventory information across all fields of business, internally and externally.
- Create project management tools, trackers and action logs to deliver on the Onboard Revenue Inventory Operating Plan and Strategic Plan.
- Essential part of the team in quality assurance testing for pre-cruise promotional events.
- Helps to bring stakeholders together around a shared understanding of the inventory management/guest experience and operations that need to be flawlessly executed and operated by our partners/operators and shipboard teams.
- Assists with maintaining inventory offerings contained in Hybris (My Celebrity Cruises), Colonial/AS400, Hyperion &/or equivalent system for Celebrity Cruises. This includes obtaining, analyzing, validating, and loading all inventory allotments for Onboard Revenue (OBR) products (inclusive of tours, transfers, hotels/city stays, pre & post, CruiseTours, etc.) and cost/prices and creating/maintaining product offerings to display on external websites as required.
- Collaborates on the delivery of inventory for all products (i.e. for Destination Experiences which include Shore Excursions, Port of Call Experiences and Pre/Post Packages) on a daily, weekly, seasonal, etc. basis to ensure revenue targets are achieved, guest satisfaction is high and tour operators are fulfilling the inventory demand of products (where needed).
- Assist with inventory management including support team for Destination Experiences in all regions and ensures that tour program inventory is up to date in conjunction with Time to Market (TTM); properly and consistently presented on all platforms. This also applies to inventory &/or support for all products supported & authorized by OBR.
- Coordinate, manage, and provide support for Guest Communications as needed.
- Manage bi-weekly meetings with the Inventory Team to discuss status of inventory or completed special projects.
- Report to Product Owner team the latest inventory trends (as needed).
- Analyze weekly queries from system, shipboard and shoreside management, and report on key inventory performance metrics recommending to management suggested courses of action to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Help to manage the Inventory Team assignments as well as training and support.
- Provides support to call centers, internal/external sources regarding inventory matters.
- Action reports from ship and shoreside management and process recommendations and changes to optimize tour mix, positioning, demand, and revenue.
- IT systems liaison; audit all guest facing platforms. Provides business and system testing of all systems in conjunction with IT. Reports defects provide needed support for IT in resolution of defects. Attend and instruct SAP Commerce/Hybris training among Inventory Specialists.
- Weekly queries / performance quality assurance audits required. Assistance may include, but is not limited to, inventory and/or pricing discrepancies, consumer interests, images, video, etc.
- Assists in ad hoc projects to maximize revenue and reduce costs.

Financial Responsibilities
- Supports the implementation of Onboard Revenue Inventory strategy. The inventory is products that Celebrity Cruises sells to guests; and contributes to Onboard Revenue key performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data management, or other related fields; 1 to 2 years of business analytics experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, clear and concise presentations
- Experience in project management (i.e. project that took ideas and concepts and delivered them as a final product to a customer or stakeholder, etc.) Longer tenure with this type of experience would be a plus.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, decision making, and problem-solving abilities along with analytical aptitude, inquisitive nature, and passion for uncovering insights.
- Ability to work across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication, time management and writing skills.
- Very strong project management skills with ability to drive consensus in cross functional teams.
- Ability to analyze trends and pricing/cost data.
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team member. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and via email.
