Senior Analyst, Land Experiences

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Analyst, Land Experiences helps shape and grow our premium pre/post land experiences offered before and after the cruise, making sure they align with our brand and guest expectations. This role is pivotal in supporting our managers managing an inventory portfolio that generates over $5M+ in land net revenue and working closely with sales and marketing teams to respond to requests, develop product stories, and support our go-to market guest communications strategy. In this role you will analyze data for insights to understand performance and assist the managers in the decision-making process to improve our land offerings.

 

  • Maintaining land programs database and Inventory and ensuring pre and post land programs align with open deployment.
  • Negotiating via periodical bids to determine the local operators with the best cost and highest quality experiences in coordination with Senior Director, Destination Experiences.
  • Creates allocation sheets, complete with voyage numbers, dates of operation and sends them to the tour operators to start blocking inventory and finalizing costs.
  • Distribute land programs manifests and inventory reports to ground operators and shipboard teams as per schedule.
  • Assist managers in research and analyze stakeholder feedback (guests, onboard managers, tour operators) through various media (voyage reports, online reviews & sales data) to determine optimal product mix to maximize guest satisfaction, revenue and brand loyalty.  
  • Assist managers with knowledge desk articles, marketing material & training presentations for the Sales and Call Center Teams monthly to showcase new or current Land Programs being offered, within that specific region.
  • Performance measurements include – all pre and post land programs for each sailing are open and available for sale with deployment launch, all pre and post land programs are handled with no operation issues; and when applicable handled promptly.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

Education: 2-year degree or equivalent work experience is preferrable

 

 

 

Years of experience:

  • 3+ years in Destination Management and/or Product Development experience in tourism or in the luxury cruise segment

 

Essential qualifications and skills:        

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Able to communicate with clients and internal management.
  • Computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and Windows Based Programs.
  • Capable of conducting travel.
  • Problem solving / analytical skills.
  • Prepare presentations using MS PowerPoint
  • Project completion.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds.  Requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines such as computers, printers and telephones.  Requires flexibility to work occasional overtime, evening hours and weekends.  Works in a typical office environment with moderate noise generated by telephone conversations, computer, printer, copier and light traffic.
