The Senior Integrated Planning Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Product Development team at Celebrity Cruises by utilizing data analysis, market insights, and strategic evaluations to drive integrated planning decisions across the entire product development lifecycle. This role focuses on delivering actionable insights, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives to support the successful execution of new products and experiences. The Senior Integrated Planning Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to track project performance, mitigate risks, and enhance planning effectiveness, while working closely with senior leadership to ensure that projects are on time, within scope, and meet business goals
Position Overview
The Senior Integrated Planning Analyst reports to the Manager of Integrated Planning (or Senior Manager, depending on the team structure). This role collaborates with other senior leaders in Product Development and works closely with project managers, stakeholders, and functional teams across the organization. The Senior Integrated Planning Analyst is expected to lead key planning initiatives, manage project timelines and risks, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the integrated planning function.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from various product development initiatives, such as market research, customer feedback, financial performance, and project metrics.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and dashboards for senior management, providing insights and recommendations on how to optimize integrated planning efforts and product development processes.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track the success of new products, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Presentations: Use advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to present complex data in an accessible format for stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic Insights & Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer behavior, and opportunities for product innovation that inform the integrated planning process.
- Analysis: Assess customer feedback, industry reports, and sales data to identify gaps or areas for improvement in the product portfolio.
- Integrated Planning Execution & Project Coordination: Collaborate with the Integrated Planning Manager and other team members to develop integrated project schedules, milestone plans, and action items for assigned projects.
- Action Management: Maintain an up-to-date action log, ensuring that all tasks, risks, and milestones are tracked and properly documented.
- Timelines: Ensure that project timelines are met by proactively identifying any roadblocks or delays and coordinating with project teams to adjust plans or resources accordingly.
- Support the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring that best practices in integrated planning are applied across all product development projects.
- Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Product Development, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain, to ensure alignment and collaboration across integrated planning efforts.
- Meeting Management: Support the coordination of meetings with key stakeholders (e.g., project reviews, executive steering committees) by preparing agendas, collecting data, and following up on action items.
- Risk Management & Issue Resolution: Identify risks and issues related to project timelines, resource allocation, and budget, and work with teams to develop and implement mitigation plans.
- Executive Reporting & Communication: Assist in preparing executive-level reports and presentations that summarize the status of product development projects, risks, and key milestones.
- Provide recommendations to senior management on how to adjust or realign plans based on project performance or external factors.
- Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization: Support the ongoing refinement of integrated planning frameworks, leveraging industry best practices and internal feedback to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Knowledge Management & Documentation: Oversee the documentation of key project decisions, action items, and insights to ensure transparency and that all relevant information is available to stakeholders across the team.
- Ensure that all project materials, such as status reports, meeting minutes, and planning documents, are properly organized and easily accessible for future reference.
- Project Meetings: Schedule and lead regular project team meetings or stand-ups to review status, address roadblocks, and synchronize efforts. Prepare agendas to cover all pertinent updates (Operational Excellence) and ensure meetings stay focused.
- RFP and Vendor Coordination: Track the progress of RFPs and vendor selection: note key dates such as RFP release, proposal due date, vendor presentations, and contract award.
- Process Improvements: Contribute to refining these processes by providing feedback on what is or isn’t working at the execution level.
- Post-Launch Reviews: Analyze these results to recommend improvements or corrective actions and feed insights back into planning for future projects.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate regular cross-functional check-ins or workshops to discuss progress, surface issues, and maintain alignment among all parties.
- Sign-Off Process: Ensure that formal sign-off documents, design approvals, change logs, and lessons learned from each project are documented and stored for future reference.

Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Hospitality Management, Product Development, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in project management, product development, innovation, or operations, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or cruise industries.
- Basic understanding of the business context of projects – how guest experience, operational feasibility, and return on investment considerations play into product development.
- Proficiency in creating and managing schedules, tracking tasks, and coordinating teams. Familiarity with project management and collaboration software is required (for example, experience with Asana, Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello, or similar tools to manage tasks and timelines).
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations and making data-driven decisions.
- Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of performance management frameworks and employee engagement strategies.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make informed decisions.

- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Financial/Quantitive Responsibilities
- Involvement in projects over $5 Billion in capital projects.
- Ensuring that capital projects stay within budget, each project changing from $100M to $1B.
