Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Supply Chain Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst, Integrated Business Planning reporting to the Senior Manager, IBP.


Position Summary:
Based in Miami, FL and reporting to the Senior Manager, Integrated Business Planning, the Integrated Business Planning Senior Analyst will provide integral support and leadership to the GSC Business & Performance Planning team. This role will promote best in class IBP ways of working as well as use data and insights to guide our strategy and provide recommendations to optimize existing Supply Chain and Operational processes. They will be required to collaborate with multiple departments including Supply Chain, Brand Operations/Finance, Performance Management, Corporate Strategy, and multiple program and project teams. This role will collaboratively influence decision making related to procurement strategy, operational efficiency, and IBP strategy execution. In addition, they will be developing and managing the demand/supply forecast tool, metrics reporting, database management, data modeling and visualization tools for the department.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides analytical and data support for the development and maintenance of the Integrated Business Planning suite of tools and processes.
  • Leads in the application of IBP framework to identify opportunities to improve financial and operational performance.
  • Aggregates large data sets in Excel and other analytical tools for analysis. Leads data collection discussions, identifying critical information and data sources. Performs research and analysis on large data sets - data exploration, trending, etc.
  • Seeks out data driven and process driven improvements cross functionally.
  • Works with departmental management and other team members to understand and clarify data analysis/reporting needs.
  • Ability to” tell the story” and make inferences using complex data & relationships.
  • Influences business decisions through analytics that identify actionable, data-driven insights and opportunities. Makes recommendations and influences the direction of the business by effectively communicating results to the IBP working team and leadership.
  •  Develops and maintains dashboards, automated reports, report templates & presentations using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Responsible for producing reports in coordination with the IBP monthly cadence.
  • Analyzes corporate data for various procurement categories and provides results that may influence IBP initiative decisions.


Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to seek out improvement opportunities via data analysis and process investigation.
  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic economic & financial concepts, as well as demonstrate a strong knowledge in Excel or another analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of BI dashboard design required.
  • Ability to collect, consolidate and analyze data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to work with & manipulate large sets of data and to make recommendations with potential financial impacts.
  • Expert working knowledge of Excel. Working knowledge of Word, & PowerPoint, with experience manipulating large data sets
  • Exposure to SAS, Hyperion, SQL, Power BI, or equivalent technologies preferred .
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in global environment.
  • Attention to detail required.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at once.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) required.
  • MBA or relevant Master’s degree (e.g, data science, statistics) preferred.
  • 2 -3 years of work experience required, with experience performing financial analysis, modeling, or business intelligence/marketing analytics highly preferred.
  • Experience in travel/leisure hospitality is preferred.
