Royal Caribbean Group’s Private Destinations team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst, Business Performance Private Destinations reporting to the Manager, Business Performance.
Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, Business Performance will play a crucial role in driving the strategic initiatives and operational efficiency of the Private Destinations Department. This position is responsible for analyzing and organizing data to support informed business decisions across the department. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Performance, the Senior Analyst will work closely with the Directors of Island Projects and Innovation and will collaborate with other leaders as needed on various projects and data tracking initiatives.
The Senior Analyst will maintain project records and templates, track project progress, and support the development and implementation of process improvements. Additionally, this role will involve preparing detailed reports, presentations, and business cases to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track business performance metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and business cases to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership.
- Utilize analytical tools and techniques to gather, interpret, and present data related to stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project records and templates.
- Track the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
- Capture action plans and timelines for activities and projects. Complete follow-ups and provide feedback to stakeholders.
- Update SharePoint files and own data record organization to ensure all information is current and easily accessible.
- Work closely with the Directors of Island Projects and Innovation to gather and analyze project data.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior Manager, Business Performance and other leaders within the Private Destinations Department.
- Provide analytical support and insights to inform decision-making processes related to resource allocation, budget planning, performance evaluation, workforce planning, and process effectiveness.
- Liaise with stakeholders to collect, analyze, review, and present key performance indicators and other metrics to aid decision-making.
- Attend meetings, take detailed meeting minutes, and compile comprehensive summaries when required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the department.
- Develop and implement best practices for data management and project tracking.
- Support the development and implementation of new tools and systems to enhance business performance.
- Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and develop solutions to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Create visually appealing presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to management and other stakeholders effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education
- Four-year Bachelor's or equivalent (MBA preferred) or three to five years related experience in hospitality.
- Startup or pre-opening experience and/or training preferred.
- Experience working in diverse international environments.
- Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar).
- Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Zoom for remote communication and collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills, able to interpret and present complex information effectively using analysis and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Financial Responsibilities
- Assist Business Performance team in budget planning and resource allocation for Private Destinations.
